Holy crap, I am tired today.

I mean doesn't everyone want to build their own CNC wood router?

Should be done with all the steel part of the entertainment center tomorrow, then need to paint and make the shelves. Its looking like it'll turn out pretty kickass.

300$ for materials and everything for a 18"x26" or so CNC router, but we are going to scale it up some, then if we like it build one for a 4'x8' sheet.

So I think ya'll are going to get photos sometime of a CNC build log for my brother for a wood DIY CNC router.

Like 5 minutes into meeting him he already makes a comment about how buff he is compared to me and not in a friendly joking way either. I realize I'm not a big man, 5'10"ish and 145 or so depending on how the week has been, but seriously I know I'm skinny but I did grow up working and am not a wimp by any means. I think it got little bit obvious that he was pissing me off because as soon as he left to go to the bathroom one of the girls made sure I wasn't going to try to start a fight.

So one of my best friends asked me to go out to coffee with her to meet a friend of hers that had just come back from Afghanistan. There was two girls, me, another guy, and him. He got annoying as fuck, the whole night he kept pretty blatantly saying he was better than me and the other guy and making it sound like he was this complete total hard ass figure and what not. I realize he just got done spending 15mo in the sand box, but seriously, he doesn't have to remind me every 5 minutes.

Second thing to do is figure the budget, size of room, and what not. Also, with a line array go big or go home. If your going with 2.1 I would ditch any receiver and go with Crown or QSC or some other higher quality high powered rack amp for the mains and use a DCX 2496 for processing.

Yep, we are getting smashed, had some hail up to golf ball ish size (not to much though thank god). Two more cells are going to move through it looks like before its over. Not a bad day at work, finishing the morning coffee and watching a storm, while getting paid.

all this taping, done to prevent chipping? bugs? both? i've never seen, nor herd, of anyone doing this. lol, would totally piss the wife off if i got up early and taped up the cooper. might jsut be worth the money in tape to do so. put my father's day gift on layaway. ruger mark III with a baskina, basker, some cheap red dot sight. gotta wait my 3 days. grabbed a portable shooting bench as well. sweet gifts. now i have a platform to see just what the .17hmr can do!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that .17hm is a pretty badass little cartridge, 300yds is a fricking craps shoot though. i finally got a place to shoot the lil bastage too! my 500 yd range finder is useless there, lol. it goes WAYYYYYYY out. i'd say 1k yds anyway, though i won't try that for awhile. the bsa sweet 17 is already graduated for 300, so i'll try for that anyway. the ruger mark III i just bought will be topped with a barska red dot. hear, or know, anything about those? it doesn't have to be the greatest, it's jsut for plinking and maybe the occasional animal. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hmmm, don't know much about red dots, haven't gotten into that side to much. The only thing I don't like about the Mark III is the lower on it is made of a polymer rather than the mark II which is made out of steel (ours is anyways). Also don't know how windy it is over there, but if your trying a long range shot with the .17, it had better be damn calm otherwise you'll have lots of fun trying to dope the wind.
