Proper deadening I believe would be a better phrase to use.

Personally I find straight pipes or loud exhaust on a daily driver annoying as hell. I drive enough I do not want the constant noise polluting my music.

Synthetic Oils & Changing Intervals

With modern engines, oil, and highway driving I wouldn't hesitate to go 10k. Think how far engines and oils have advanced in the last 40 years, and how long has that 3,000mi motto been around. -
some how... no matter what... I have never met a modern vette I like. The '67's. Yup ok can do.... but after the 60's ended.... :meh: Teh roommates folk's '66 is the most finicky bitchy automobile I've ever seen.

We don't have any 9" rear ends, but we do have a couple of Dana 60's laying around.

At teh woman's parents house. I think her dad got kinda ticked at me for beating him all night on the Nintendo Wii.

Is that a Ford 9" in that rear end?

You need to find a local place where it's only mexican guys. They will have one dude who speaks ~some~ english and the rest just work on cars. You can bring in your own online ordered parts and they will charge about 100 bucks for anything. Here in the twin cities there are no better places to take your car. They know more practical knowledge about tune ups and basic repair than ever other tech who works in a chain shop combined. I wouldn't ask them to tune up an Enzo, but if my Ford pickup/SUV needs some love they will have that shiz done in 15 min and they might throw in a new transmission and some beans and rice on the way out for under 100 bucks. After seeing my bill, the biggest problem was not taking in my own parts. They gave me double platinum plugs @ 12 apiece and a $75 wire set. I don't think my Explorer needs that. $3 plugs and a $30 wire set probably would have been adequate. Labor for doing plugs and wires was 115. Coulda saved 40 bucks in labor by replacing the belt myself though. My plugs definitely needed replaced though. Half of them had the electrode worn down all the way to a smooth nub barely above the insulator. I'm surprised some of them even fired. If I remember right plugs and wires for my car are around 180$ in parts alone.

I always hated punching wires on a panel.

I would pick up some other mags too in case your feed lips got damaged. MidwestPX.com

What mags are you using?

Remember, ARs like lube.
-
I wouldn't worry to much about steel cased ammo, the cheap steel in those cases can't be to much harder than the brass, and I have doubts that some cheap steel is really going to eat up hardened steel in the AR. Then again that is just my thoughts, I don't run ARs.
-
Does the ejector still look ok? How is the lube situation? Also, for more AR specific questions go to www.thegunvault.org, some pretty intelligent AR/3-gun folks and not a whole lot of useless bull shit.

That's wild. Trijicon has put those on for years, and they are pertaining to light, light in the darkness, etc. I see no problem with it considering they money that pays for them says 'In God We Trust' Jackasses.

I found it pretty funny, XKCD is a pretty good comic, I normally get a chuckle out of them.

I read that as you had DVC 2ohm drivers, not 4ohm. Also, if you don't know sub wiring I wouldn't wire the amp to 1ohm if it isn't rated for it, just asking for a blown amp. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SV4Vcjplbc9/Learn/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html
-
Is it rated for it? If yes, then do it. If not, its up to you and be easy on the gain and don't try to kill it.
-
You cant wire them to 2 ohms, either 1 or 4 ohms Subwoofer Wiring www.the12volt.com *edit* I read that as dual 2ohm subs...

What kind of mixer do you use?
