I was wondering how long it would be till someone posted the Parthenon. -

What components are on that bike Sean?

Hahaha! I know the feeling! Just got the mountain bike out today and now I am paying for it! Nice bike btw! I just broke my bike out yesterday as well to ride to the gym to lift. It's so old and pathetic though, I REALLY need a new one. Both wheels have slight bends at certain points, which causes the front one to ever so slightly rub the brake once per revolution. But I can't adjust the brake width any wider because then the brake handle won't have enough travel to easily apply the brakes. Chain and gears are pretty rusty as well, had to apply some WD-40 before even attempting to take it out. Who knows how much increased resistance is aged into the thing, ha. Gets me in shape faster I guess though, right? I've got a Rockhopper here in Manhattan if you are in the neighborhood.

I played with an I-Pad in best buy the other day. They are cool but I definitely don't want to buy one, to heavy and hard to manipulate for long periods one handed.

If that Eclipse deck is still up for grabs I'd be interested in that one Sean.

RM AUCTIONS They have an Olympic Gold Corvette! Its not a Chevelle, but I the Olympic Gold color and its pretty uncommon.

Fuse Holders... Voltage Drop?
topgun replied to Don Ganso's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Don't worry about it. -
4x4's for the uprights would be overkill but it would work just fine. 2x4 frame that you box in on the sides with plywood would be plenty of support. If you make it out of treated make sure to use hot dipped galvanized (or stainless steel) hardware on it.

Why next week? Why not this week?

Metal hook. Just covered in a nylon. It's probably pot aluminum, so they coat it. The dang paddle beater chipped on me on the top in fact. You aren't supposed to put them in the dishwasher. I blame the W or my room mate. Mom still runs hers through the dishwasher though. It just isn't worth the hassle to her, she would rather replace one a year or whatever rate they burn out.

That is actually a pretty sweet use of a corner I think.

Ohhh, teh little Sean is the benchmark of performance!

For bits you want either Freud or Whiteside. You are going to want a 1/4" spiral upcut, large and small roundovers, and a 1" flush cut bit. Do not buy cheap ones!

What kind of environment then, would be a steel toe be a benefit? Quite honestly I'm not sure. I've never felt the need for them. I've always done farm or shop work and never been in a situation where I've wanted them. I feel that if you think you are going to need steel toe shoes, your feet shouldn't be there anyway. Someone might want them in a situation where you were lifting heavy things and repeatedly set them on your foot to keep them off the ground might be a place where they were useful. That is just my opinion though.
-
I had forgotten about the huge ass foot, the ones I'm seeing only run a EE size on Ariats so those are out of the running.

What's it for? If it's for work you should get laces. Unless it's for casual/light duty then you really NEED laces. Even gardening IMHO. Agreed. The only slip ons that should be mentioned are good fitting cowboy style boots, and those don't look like it. Any work that will involve more than the upright position should have laces in my opinion.
-
I've never been a big fan of steel toe, never been in an environment where it would actually benefit me. For work boots, I'm a big fan of Ariat though.

I try my best to not even get into discussing politics.

The country is fucked. The only saving grace to me is the fact that it seems gun laws are going in a positive way. At least we are having some (read minuscule) freedom restored there.
