Sucks about the little guy Sean. Hopefully he gets better soon.

I wouldn't think so unless it was destruction of property.

If I was you I really wouldn't worry about it. -
Finally starting to list crap in my garage on Craigslist, maybe I can get rid of some of my extra crap.

Its Topeka, what do you expect?

The iPad does have a headphone jack though...

Money has to be cut somewhere, and an easy short term cut is maintenance.
-
And it looks like it needs some new ball joints too.

I guess it'll just have to wait, lord knows how long its been driven since the boots have been ripped.

FUCK. I put the woman's Audi on jackstands to try to tighten the alternator belt, and what do I find? The CV boots are ripped so I get to put new half shafts in. She has a job interview to go to on Monday 40min away and me being me would have liked to fix them today and been done with it. Of course the soonest anyone can get the little fuckers in is Tuesday. One of the last things I needed since I just put a new radiator in my fricking Cadillac this past week since the damn tank cracked after 170k miles.

I've had all the Crowns, just not that big of a fan of Whiskey anymore. I'll just get a beer instead.

this will end well So? The streets won't run red with blood, they never have because of CCW, anyone up to no good isn't going to give two shits about a permit, if anything it should actually help decrease crime.

In the f250 I drove long distance in we averaged 21mpg on a trip to Chicago and back. A fair amount of city included. This was stock, no tune and no engine mods. Maybe an exhaust but I don't think so. We calculated with paper and miles on the odo. I drove steady and never gunned it though. Never pulled from a stop fast. Just gentle large truck econ driving. It was one a mix of regular deisel and some home brew bio. There is literally hundreds of HP and TQ hidden under the "green" parts put onto those Ford engines. 'Tis the beauty of Diesel. Need more power? Crank in more fuel.

If you take out the EGR you can get a heck of a lot more out of it too. Amazing how much power is locked up in those things. I may or may not know someone who runs his deisel on used hydrolic fluid that he gets for free from someone else too. gets about 21mpg too. Some diesels work ok without the EGR, some don't But there is a lot of power / liter to be made from modern diesels. Interesting you mention that. I have heard some don'e work so hot without the EGR. Most fellas I know get a tune to to match the fact they took it out. I know the 6 liter turbo from Ford turns into a completely different (as in much stronger, more reliable, more efficient/cleaner) engine without the EGR and other "green" restrictions. Some of the enginears are getting 30+ mpg with the right tune on the fseries super duty's. I hate all the "green" garbage on big trucks. How is it green when it reduces fuel effiencey by 15%-50%? Kind of like putting up light up bill boards to promote turning off lights when not in use. And a big thanks goes to the .gov and emission requirements. I do know on the new F-series that they work a lot better if you take the particulate filter out.

You want SQ, I've got a v4 12" Mag sitting around that you need.

Is there a lot of tech talk on there? Quite a bit, he has met a few of the local folks on there too, he really enjoys it.

My dad is on a machinist forum a lot, Mom just laughs and goes along with it.

Women just don't get internet forums.

The GF just assumes that I'm on a forum when I've got the laptop out, and of course I get the required amount of grief about it. A good round in the bedroom seems to cure said bitching though.

You beat the K-State team though who got 68th though.

We really didn't do as well as expected but we did finish up the endurance race yesterday with a working car. Just found out the unofficial results are posted. 41st overall Mainly the competition objective of making a vehicle for the average weekend off road enthusiast is pretty much a lie. Some how teams with chromoly frame custom platics and carbon fiber panels can cost less on the cost report then a team with Carbon Steel DOM, and aluminum body panels. We didn't get any kind of points for being one of very few teams that passed tech inspection first try. Then they gave away an "attention to detail" award for teams that were always prepared, and had all there registration covered, etc... Something we always did and then they give the award to Cornell, a fancy team that didn't even pass tech the first time. Because their Chromoly is all donated.

Wanting to put 4 mids and 4 tweeters in the door.
topgun replied to Lucky 76's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Ok. Before you go thinking about spending money you need to educate yourself a little more. Adding more and more speakers is a recipe for a huge pile of shit.
