I use Dropbox over here, most everything gets saved in a folder in that directory and its all good.

It does play Blu ray right? Don't have a clue if it doesn't play legit movies.

We've got some security camera folks here. Looking for a wireless preferred, possibly wired security camera for the Gramps to put on their front porch to see who's there as to if they need to get up to answer the door or if it was just UPS ringing the door to say a package was delivered. No recording, just a live view of whats out there to a separate display. Something easy for not so tech inclined people. I haven't done much research yet, just presented to me this morning. My brother and I would be doing the install/training on it and then I would be future tech support, but looking for something easy. No home automation, no use other than who is on the front porch, ability to add a second camera would be nice as well. IR Illumination is nice but not mandatory. Live feed and not just motion activated would be nice as well.

Although my sharpening sucks, at least they are mildly passable.

Its getting returned. I was playing with it for a thought of a gift, seems rather delicate and I don't like how it cuts. I cut almost everything with the 10" chefs knife here. Wife does get frustrated using other people's knives though, she finds them dull.

Picked up a Kyocera ceramic paring knife to try out. I thought it'd be sharper than my steel knives.

Ugh, more cloud programs. Just what we all want, more subscription based software that they can screw us over with and heaven forbid if you don't want that machine connected to the outside world.

Biggest speed increase I've ever noticed was a solid state drive upgrade. The IBuyPower desktops seem to be a good bang for the buck, I've got one at the house that has been running for 2? years now with no issues.

I've got an older Sony one, happily buy a new one if I needed one.
