I've developed quite a taste for Americanos from the local coffee shop, thankfully the one here at work sucks at making them so I don't buy them very often.
-
If I find my rack brackets I'll let you know Sean, but I have no clue where they are.
-
Looks good. You make me want more coffee now.
-
I bought some brackets from PE ~6yrs ago, seem to be nice units but kinda pricey if I remember right.

4 Ok, good. According to your order of operations though, you should have gotten 0 because you would have added before doing subtraction.
-
If you believe it is, tell me this. What is the answer to 5 - 3 + 2 =
-
No. Parenthesis > Exponents > Multiplication = Division > Addition = Subtraction. You work left to right.
-
The 2 next to the (9+3) means you multiply it to the parenthesis. It doesn't mean that it is given a higher power.
-
Where did you learn this? How about we write it like this 48 ÷ 2 x (9+3) 48÷2 x 12 Multiplication and division are on the same level, therefore you work left to right, you don't do one before the other randomly because you feel like it.
-
What this is here is a poorly written equation. 48÷2(9+3) =288 48/(2(9+3)) = 2

Sailer and coke it is. Stout one too.

At least one keg of Boulevard Wheat. After that is out I'm sure there will be lots of Budweiser to drink.

Going to a wedding tomorrow in podunk ville, should be lots of beer, and a hotel room for me and the little lady.
-
I lead an exciting Friday night.
-
Thinking about that over here.

What are you selling? Chris Farley, Tommy Boy.

Way to go on the house!

I don't think I will ever see the day Dad will buy a new Ford truck. GM's last for us and we don't have anywhere the problems that Sean has ever had.
-
The '04 2500HD is a new work truck, the '94 2500HD is almost dead, and I think their new Buick Enclave has spoiled him.
-
Teh old man just bought a new 6.2L 2500HD
-
The old man's Jeep transmission died the other day, was making funny noises so they pulled the pan off and gear parts fell out.

IIRC, that is the 4l60E which is essentially a 700R4, so they are oretty tough unless GM did something fucked up like putting a smaller input shaft in the units for the smaller displacement engines, but I doubt it. They've always made pretty stout transmissions. If I had to pick a weak point, it would be the programming. the 700R4 and 4L60E are almost identical mechanically. they're decent transmissions, but abuse by a healthy small block (gen 1, 2, or 3) will kill 'em. they've upgraded them over the years. there are now 4L65E and 4L70E variants. If you want practically bulletproof, go with a 4L80E. Or a 6L80E. that would be sweet in a truck with it's ridiculously short first gear (4.xx) The problem with factory setups in trucks I've been in is the damn torque management software built in, just can't break the tires loose. It is kinda nice pulling heavy trailers up hill in lower traction, but I would rather have torque management be my right foot.

Speaking of transmissions, I wish they would do away with tranny flushes and crappy mechanics/businesses pushing them.
