Have a good weekend. Just buy the damn Pantera already and quit your bitching.

The Spirit surplus sales are pretty good too. Bought more than one thing out of there.

The woman is about the only thing good to come out of that town.

That as well, lol. For KS its usually Wichita and Texas Austin. Nothing similar in either of those cities, but of course our customer base. Aircraft. I hate Wichita, such a shit town.

Oh, one of my biggest sales last year was to the UoMN's lab that is pretty much like yours. CE and focused on cement and structures. Really? They ran into some serious money. They must be focusing more on cement and reactions at the molecular level?

I'm going to get away with boots for as long as I can.

I read your post as 'real uncommon for me to even be seen in areas where you both live.' My first thought was, well, don't blame you.
-
True. In your line of work no way would I expect to see someone in boots. For a guy that gets paid to build and break things, I would expect to see boots.
-
Oxymoron Not in this area. Especially when its easy to drop 300$ on nice ones. *Not saying that money is the quantifier for how nice things are*

Says the guy who doesn't own sandals.

Only in Texas would this start with boots. Nothing wrong with good boots.

I go to bed early on my birthday just to get up and go to work again. I feel old. Still have time for sex though, of course.

Press "Play" and walk away. I had to do a power point presentation in computer class a few years back, as a joke, I typed in everything I was going to say for each slide into a computer generated voice, saved the mp3 files and attached to each slide. Game day came, I walked up, started it, then just walked out and got a drink of water, came back with a big grin on my face, teacher didn't have a good sense of humor. Aidan doesn't get to watch tv. Plus its fucking gorgeous outside. All the shit on tv now for kids seems like such a steaming pile of shit. Rots the mind I tell you. Now I'm off to work.... yay.

Smith. I absolutely love mine, I like them better than my Oakleys and I returned my Ray-Bans. For plastic lenses Smith are nice. I still prefer the optical quality that glass gives you, but have almost bought Smiths and/or Tifosi as well many times. Ahhh, I see. I won't buy a pair anymore that is not poly-carbonate impact rated. Poly scratches easier than glass, but it doesn't shatter as bad. For biking I've wanted some Poly, but otherwise I'll stay with glass. Yea, every pair I own gets used as safety glasses, even my regular glasses are impact rated poly carb lenses.

I've got a pair of HD580's that have a broken headband, I should make a new one one of these days.

He is around that age when he is understanding more of what goes on. Closer to everything than more. Little turd is smart. No big surprise there.

Shame, the price of these 202's are pretty tasty: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-HD-202-MK-II-Professional-Headphones-Black-/260850160293?pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item3cbbe192a5#ht_2297wt_1139 Its been awhile since I wore them (years) but I think my problem was at that time I was wearing glasses and it would push my ear against the glasses uncomfortably. Since you have good vision you probably won't have that problem.
-
I'd ditch the 515's since they are open, I have some similar to the 203's and I like them, but they aren't the most comfortable for long term wearing.
-
Didn't realize they even had those available.... Pretty cool, 250$ for the starter tank though, not wanting to spend that much.

Yeah, we have a sig 556 and ruger mini30 (762), pretty different rounds. I haven't followed anything in the firearm worlds for years, but I know they were trying to make popular an "in between round" that was supposedly the best of both worlds, 6.8 or something. 6.8SPC and a 6.5 Grendel
