    Welcome to the IHoP

I am a flashaholic..... What do you want to use the lights for and how much do you want to spend? I will point you in the direction of a better option, unless you want it for frying eggs specifically. Thanks Matt, we use head lamps. I was hoping somebody would ask why in a Haunted house why you would need such a flashlight? What is a good led flashlight lets say under $75? All depends on what you want to be doing with the light. Just as a general purpose flashlight?

Anyone who is a fast car nut will feel the same after one short ride. I've ridden them, some old busted ones and a modded Mach1 years ago. I love them, just jealous. Theres something about flying balls out over a layer of snow that is pretty awesome.

1 Watt??? To put that in perspective anything beyond 1mW is NOT eye safe. Yep, small CNC laser table is the only thing I can think of using it for.

I still haven't figured out what I would do with on of their lasers, but they sure are cool.

Really depends on how much work you want to put into it, anywhere from a couple of 1.5" screws to a thru bolt with a wedge setup so tighter the bolt goes, the tighter the clamping force is.

Put a 2x2 under it and a collar to go around. Couldn't agree more....but what would you use for a collar? Duct tape! More lumber, 3/4" wood, some screws, steel tubing with set screws/bolts, you name it. Screw it to the bottom piece so its tight fitting without screwing to the top piece it keep it pristine and you should be golden.

A lot of people wonder how I do driving the Jeep around town, since it seems big to them. They never saw a 1 ton I'd much rather drive a 1ton than a Jeep, mainly because I hate Jeeps.

Your an artist, don't skimp on them. Put some 'bitchin cover photos on of your work and don't have them be some cheap ass thing.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I don't see how those guys can stand to drive them in town. I get tired of driving a 3/4ton extended cab long bed, let alone before a guy lifts it, bigger tires, and bigger grill guards, etc.

Measuring wind at the shooting location doesn't mean squat if it changes downrange which it will.

Googling it seems to be a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. Nothing a ballistic program can't do for a lot cheaper.

6" opening only I've got a 12" bench vise in my shop mounted to a ~1,500lb concrete block. Then I've got a 2.5" baby Wilton sitting on my desk.

Just going off of hearsay... I'd go Nightforce. They are pretty much the cat's meow, and if Lilja says they are the best, I'm inclined to believe one of the best barrel makers. It all depends on what you are doing as to the magnification, just popping larger critters 5x would be fine, but for paper punching, might as well crank it on up.

If a 40 by 2 inch flat bar can dissipate 4-500w it's perfect. That is a good sized bar. I bet it can.
