I just built a box for my new fully loaded Fi BL 15. Specs: H:18" W:17.5" L:38".....Square port length: 4.5" Port length 2: 20.75"...with 3/4 MDF. Box is tuned to 33.14hz and the Box volume is 3.822cuft. Sound good? will it work?

that box volume is wayy to small for that sub. it deff wont sound that good. Please give accurate advice and not something pulled out of your ass. haha. So you think the box volume is cool for a fully loaded 15 Fi BL?

Alright. So im putting together my new system and im new to this so i need some guidance or help. I just bought a BL 15 fully loaded dual 1 and built the new box so thats takin care of for the sub. Now im buying a Hifonics BXi 1210D. Im going to have to run 4 gauge wire with that amp tho and i was wondering would i want to get an amp with 0 gauge instead? difference? I dont know what to throw around my car for speakers tho. any ideas? Im going to run a Rockford punch 550x2 to the speaks what ever they are. And im going to run another amp, Alpine 650 mono to some towers im throwing in. Do i need a distribution block or a fused distribution block to run 3 amps? Going to have all amps running off this http://mechman.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/1/products_id/28. Donoo about a head unit yet, which one that is. Again any ideas? All going into a 97 4runner or a 2000 Xterra. If anyone feels like Kind of building a system and helping me out, then help me out please. Thanks to anyone!

Okay so im hooking up my new system and i dont know what to get for my fuses or my distribution block. Im going to run 3 amps connected to a powermaster D1200 battery. An alpine 650 mono, 2 channel Rockford punch 550x2, and a Sundown SAE 1200D. What distribution blocks would work? Fuses? Gauge sizes? How would i hook up the battery to the amps and other battery? Anyway, any help will help. Thanks everybody.

He only has three amps but they are all mono, he was just saying 550x2 (how much power per channel). What all equipment will you be running to these amps? Okay so i cancelled the alpine 650 and went with an older amp i found in my closet. Its a TMA 250. So I'm going to run that Sundown to my sub, the TMA to my front drivers, and the Rockford 2 channel to two Wake board tower speakers put up in the back. The only thing is is that i don't know drivers to run in the front? its a 97 4runner. any ideas? Would it work, sure. Does it make sense? No way. All im trying to do is to have speakers loud enough to hear over the sub. So i thought that two tower speakers would do the trick. Any other ideas? I hate music when its straight bass. I like being able to hear the lyrics.

I just want a system that pounds hard as hell. Im a daily driver and will prob not play it to often when the car is off. I wont be entering in any competitions. Just for my use only. I Heard about the whole Fi series through ***** ***** of course. I wanted a BTL but i found it pointless and why not just pay less? So all in all i just want to be able to jump in my car and mob around pounding my stereo.

Whats the difference between a dual 1 ohm sub and a dual 2 ohm? And if the amp puts out at 2 ohms why wouldnt i get a 2 ohm sub?

Okay so im putting in a new system in my car and i need to know if there is a reason to buy a crossover and put one in. Whats up everyone. I'm new to this site and im looking for some help with my box build. I just got a Fi Bl 15 dual 1 fully loaded and i am wondering what dimensions i should use to get the most slap outta this sub. I went to RE Audio and used there box calculator and came up with: W: 38" H: 18" D: 17.5"... Port width: 4" port Length 12.75. Second port length: 16"....with 4.2 cu ft. in total for volume. Box is Tuned to: 31.63 hz Does that sound alright? Also im buying a Hifonics BXi 2010D to power the BL so id be giving it 2000 watts. Is that to much? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
