  1. A broken knob/cable is the least of my worries. My concern is the amp. I will change it out when I get sometime, just wondered if anyone else has had this kind'of thing happen.
  2. Lately its been real hot here...over 100 several times. I park my Tahoe outside in the heat and usualy only drive it on the weekends. I have an SAZ1500D. After its been sitting for a few days ill hop in there and the bass seems to be all the way up.(As if the gain knob is all the way up). Ill unplug the cable at the knob and nothing changes, I'll go to the back and disconnect it at the amp and it lowers itself back down allowing me to control it again. Real strange to me and it has only started happening since this damn heat has hit. Any idea's? I would like to think its something wrong with the knob/wire but who knows. Edit: it is a very random thing, it doesn't do this every time so it makes it hard'to track

    Knu's OFC vs CCA

I have used knu CCA without any trouble.. i think it works just fine for a not so demanding install. Would i use it on a big install? no.. but for the price it did me just fine for a daily system in my commuter truck.

Incriminator Audio I Series now on the SSA Store!

I haven't either but the price just made me think that. IA usually has a bigger price tag than that. Probably score a set here soon

Wife's build, yes my wife now rocking Sundown!

not a bad idea.. too bad it didnt have some type of viewing glass in the center so the sundown logo was visible lol. kinda hides the woofer, but totally understand its purpose. great work so far!

    95 camaro box

i used to own that body style camaro.. would be hard to fit a 15 in there but im sure it can be done. i always used a wedge style box with 2 12's in mine. always sounded good bouncing off the back hatch window but sucked cause there wasnt much space.

Graphic Designers - HELP ME OUT!

im not much for following directions, but i did have some time on my hands to whip these up. like em or not.. here you go edit: stefan made the ones that originally popped in my head after reading the first post. did a damn nice job with them too.
  11. if your speaking of DB-R do a search here.. been posted on several times.
  12. Whats to be said for American Bass amplifiers? Hows the quality? any known problems? certain ones to watch out for? Ive seen them used on numerous youtube video's but that really tells me nothing. Reason for this thread is there is a local craigslister who has the VFL 150.1 i believe it is and states its capable of 2900rms @ 1 ohm. Price is something I could easily swing. Ive had my eye on a refurb saz-3500d from db-r lately but for the price of this one it may just be a better route. Just for reference saz 3500 at db-r is about $780 and the VFL 150.1 is $250. Guy says he will demo the amp before the sale to ensure it works. Seems like a deal but again.. these amps are something ive never used before. Any info is appreciated.
  13. missed the deal by a few hours.. meant to text him which i was at work and when I got home he told me it sold. sucks for me. He also has a BTL but the sob hasnt responded with any info on it. wants $300 and if it matches the one I have then it would be a score for me... you snooze you lose. thanks for the responses, next time i run across one i wont hesitate.

    Magnet Diameter of FI Q10?

im pretty sure the magnet on the Q stays the same size regardless of options and Im sure its pretty big. other than that my advice is document this build for us.. i was considering a newer camaro a while back.. infact i still am. Just curious to see builds for them.. so take pics
  15. hmm.. thanks for that link! sounds like people like it. no where in that thread did i see anything about 2900 watts.. but even if its 2000rms it could be worth the price its being offered. im going to text the guy. I want to see what kind of electrical system he has for it and if he is the original owner. Any other info you guys have would be appreciated also.

Stupid stinger volt meter problem please help

if you hook the remote to the positive wont that turn the meter on? i have one of these stinger volt meters but havent hooked it up yet. usually with a remote wire you just need some power to it.
  18. im not much help on figuring out what options your sub has but i totally agree with that!.

    4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra

Being afraid of failure is the key to success! This was my first time using a router, circle jig, rotozip, fiberglass resin, upholstering and bondo...try it out first, on a small scale... great advice!

    12" sq at ohms

you should probably go ahead and read the noob guidelines. but incase thats too much be very detailed in your questions.. "SQ sub" isnt very descriptive.. give us a budget you have to work with, type of vehicle, what kind of power will you be giving this sub? experience with other subs you may have liked. and most importantly give us your goals for what you want to accomplish so people can give you good advice that will actually help you and not just go buy something that someone pics out of no where.

    Recone kit

I have had great experience with Fi. They tell you it will take time then you give them that time. You wont find very many IF ANY complaints on Fi products. You just have to understand you may have to wait a little bit. Like stefan said email them. you aren't their only customer.
