    Boom sonic

I haven't uploaded pics directly to SSA in a while, so can't comment on that. But the other option I see guys do, is setup a photobucket account and upload from there.

The speed things move at and the turnover rate in Vegas is unreal. Truly the city that never sleeps.

Haha. Yeah most of mine are from the ones in Las Vegas. Even found a pair of shorts with $80 in chips in the pocket once.

Always good to have a visual. Then it's on and clacking!! Perhaps try some thrift stores, preferably in a high-end part of town. A lot of times you will find stuff from last year with the tags still on it. Especially something seasonal like that. 90% of my clothes are second hand. LOL

I stole it from a DYI loudspeaker group. The coolest thing I seen this week was a set of enclosures built out of marble. Definitely enough to keep one humble.

Hey Matt, did you finish up your Maelstrom enclosures yet? Thought you might like to see this.

Don't know if I could abide by those guidelines. My logic would be I need more of something else, not less of that.

Yeah it's like that with their first anal toO. Have to explain it only feels kinky the first time.

Yeah , somebody's got to do it. Like we tell the new girls in the porn industry, it's not going to suck itself.

    rockford midbass drivers?

I will add if you really want output in the midbass range from a 2-way, a ported enclosure is an plausible option. Personally I think sealed with enough power to eq the midbass is the correct recipe. That and the Q can be matched to the cabin response. As I posted earlier in this thread, I am working on some ported and sealed boxes to test this. So we will see.

    rockford midbass drivers?

The peerless models beautifully but may not be that great if you are sticking with a two-way, due to roll off from inductance. Sadly I know you won't be happy with the output of a full ranger either, even on axis. see what you think of this guy. https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-10-woofers/satori-wo24p-4-9.5-egyptian-?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjJXHtY3r2QIVj7rACh0LVwjLEAQYASABEgLQ__D_BwE Should work well with a beefy tweeter that digs low enough.

    rockford midbass drivers?

I gave two examples of worthy 10" midbasses on the first page. Designed for a small enclosure, high xmax, strong motor force, low coil inductance. As far as sensitivity... Why do you think all companies don't just make high efficiency speakers only? I will give a clue. What sounds are audible at times in a speaker and are undesirable, other than the original signal being play through it? Home speakers have extra design steps to eliminate THESE undireable sounds (insert awnser from above here) AND publish what has be done to accomplish such tasks. a car sub that falls flat on its face at 200hz will have THESE undireable sounds playing louder than the source material at that point. if you still haven't guessed it cross your subwoofer over super high and see what you hear.

Saturday was a week in on the shower build. I got the plumbing done, electrical done, structural framing (12" OC ceiling and 1 1/2" ply floor) and fully insulated w/vapor barrier. I haven't worked on it the last two days, but here's where I was Saturday. Getting ready to put in the membrane and pour a second layer on the floor today. woot woot
