The dual Exodus setup would be wicked. These Exodus look evil, and I hear they have mad output. Probably ALOT easier to Fit also. Did you email Aura Sound about the 10"s?
-
I ordered My fullrange speakers for my dash pods. I choose the Fostex FF85K for the dutys. This driver plays from 100hz to 32k hz, Very Nice!!!!! Anyways right now I am still devising a plan for the door bracing and support. Should be fun. I am waiting on my alternator, midbasses and my fullrangers to get here in the mail, I hate the waiting game.

I change my vote, I thought I was voting for a 15" xcon. I would buy the two 12"s also.
-
I voted for the xcon because the motor force will hit the lows nice.

Help with electrical system
j-roadtatts replied to hardrock2401's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
For starters, put the wire between the alternator and the battery man. This is probably most of your problem. Do this and report back. -
Lookin' good my Brother. Everything is coming together nicely for you. I like the simple but functionable layout you choose for the box and amps. Keep up the good work.
-
Looking good as usaul. Glad to see you taking your time.
-
The box looks good, I like the design. Did you build the box yourself? What kind of batterys are you going to be running? Two 15"s should be head knockin' fo' sho'!!!!! In my car the viynl under the rear seat really helped, Where else are you lining with MVL? I will be tune in. I always like watching a build thats thought out so take your time Brother.

This pisses me off too. I can't stand people that can't do thier jobs professionally. Good luck.

FireArm TOP.

I don't think I would buy a Kimber, never shot one but haven't heard very many good things about the newer ones. Building a cheap 1911 from what I understand is almost impossible to do. Quality, Cheap, and 1911 are rather hard to find unless you fall upon a hell of a deal. You could look on here. This is like the ebay of guns, As My father is a gun dealer and has been for 20+ years. He now sells ALOT on his site and trust it. http://www.gunbroker.com/

fuse question
j-roadtatts replied to smashedz28's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I would recommend buying the 250 amp fuses. I would not worry about a whole 10 dollars, OR what brand they were. -
I made up my mind on what midbass driver I am going to use thanks to M5's help as usaul. I already ordered them Thursday so now I need to devise a plan of attack on my front doors as the midbasses are going to be some BMF. They are 10"ers. They are the Aura Sound NS10-513-4A. Heres a link. Aurasound NS10-513-4A 10" Subwoofer NLA from Madisound I finally got the F600 bridged to the front's (300rmsx2 @4ohm) and have the gain set at 1/6. The fronts sound SO much better now. The guitar REALLY sounds better. Anyways I will be hooking the F600 to the midbasses and running a seperate amp for the highs. Sould be a beautiful thing. Right now I am still in the planning phase but will keep you guys updated. I have everything but a RCA cable for the RF amp, And think I will mount it under one of the seats.

Happy B-day Mamma Chop! Congrats on the J O B also Brother Chop!

Pretty much those sweet options require a tweeter, at least the sweetest ones. Correct. I am capable of building and soldering a crossover though if needed BUT would probably just buy a used Alpine dividing network and mount somewhere accessable from the drivers seat. I am also looking at some of the higher end dome tweeters as they play pretty low and I think they could make me happy also. I Also like the dual 2" driver option ALOT but am just now starting to look at 2" drivers so no clue there yet. My biggest problem Sean is this is my first active set up So I have NO CLUE what freq. or order I will end up crossing them over to blend best????? I WILL LEARN THOUGH, its just a matter of if its the hard way or the easy way????? Whatever, I enjoy learning SO I will be HAPPY ethier way. Yes I am a Young Bull.

I'd like too show some enclosure builds of mine
j-roadtatts replied to REVpuggie's topic in Build Logs
I checked this thread out when you first posted it, BUT I could check it out again every few months and NEVER get tired of lOOking. I LOVE your Matrix bracing and the way you Rabbit joint ALL the bracing. WHERE ARE THE PICTURES OF THE DASH PODS????? -
I personally emailed them, not just what I heard. Wonder why no one knows how to vote for the help though? BUT ANYWAYS look at my sig/profile/build log and you will see what car. I have looked at EVERYTHING at Madisound and Partsexpress and at the Mark Audio's. I like the Tang Bangs alot for a 3"er BUT if I can fit a 4"er there is a few SWEET option's. I will try horns someday. I am sure I will as I like that in your face sound I think they would have? Anyway's keep tabs on my build log and you will see how I install them and what I think of them.

Dude I hate Spoonfeeding BUT if you email Aura Sound directly they have some they are sitting on. Your Welcome.

I CAN'T wait to hear what you think of the Eclipse HU? I will probably try one in my next build. I won't be missing a thing in your build as I spend most of my time on SSA in the build logs. I LOVE SSA!!!

SWEEEEET. I ordered a pair, as they only had a few left. I wasn't taking no chances. Now I just need to find a 3"er to go with em'. Ok... Where were they? Look on Google my Brother.
