I've seen this too many times

MY funny story is when I was selling my MRP-m650 w/cap and my type-r 12. Before you give me shit for the cap, MY wife bought it for me about 7-8 yrs ago w/ a MTX sub for my b-day I think. I knew it wasn't doing anything but was a gift and everyone that seen the cap was SOOO intrigued.haha. ANYWAYS the funny shit is when I went to sell everything in the local newspaper. I sold the amp and cap together to a kid that had just bought some Polk 15"s off of someone else. HE was a complete moron. I asked him the RMS of the subs and he didn't know. I told him to ask the guy he was getting them from, and he said the guy told him 1500 peak ,haha. I tryed asking how he was going to wire the subs up but he didn't know what I was talking about. He problably ended up running the amp 4 or 8ohm or something stupid I'm sure. haha.I got like 50 calls for that stupid cap I just had to laugh every time. The ad was free so I could only use so many words. Well the sub didn't sell with my first ad which described the sub and box breifly. Then the next time I just put 1500watt sub and I sold the thing a day later. I then got like 50 calls for the 1500 WATT SUB, I had laugh. Everyone though the sub produces 1500 watts of power, FUCKIN' MORONS. Funny thing about the Sony subs is a friend just gave me 3 10"s and 3 12"s sonys, NOW I just need to sell them by thier peak number, haha.

    2 12" BTL's or 1 15" BTL

I too was once faced with this decision. I choose the single 15" because it will be most efficient. the one 15" will only need 2000 watts and the two 12"s will use 4000 watts. The two 12s will cost almost double also, plus need double the electric upgrades. BTW my single 15" BTL moves enough air to crush my windpipe.

I enjoy looking at ALL styles of tatts so post em' up. The trick to portraits other than find someone is to do them atleast 3-4 inches tall, gives the room for the detail.

I got two more tatts on my left arm last night!!!!!! Here are some pictures..... Yes this is right below the elbow on the back side.... This is a portrait of my Mother in high skool in 1974, her gradutating picture I am pretty sure. The open space below her is where the next one is....... This is a portrait of my sister when she was a teenager. Yes this is on the underside of the wrist. I got the wizard when I was 15 from my brother with a single needle. The wizard is the first tatt I got from my brother 17 years ago, it was like my 6-7 tatt at the time. This is the front side of my forearm, I got these about a year ago. These are portraits of my wife and two daughters. My next session on my lower left arm will be to tie everything together and finish hopefully!!!!! I downloaded a few color pictures to my myspace if any one want to check them out. I have more I might get on there today if I have time? www.myspace.com/jaredwight

    J-Roadtatts Honda Accord Build

LOoks gOod as usaull my Netherland Brother! I hope I don't have to pull the dash and deaden it but it is one of the things that vibrates/rattles unfortunetly. I like how you make the beauty rings, Don't know that I will use SS though. I am ready to start building but have to wait until I have time. I have a design in my head SO I am Solid on that part, just need to apply it. I read about aperiodic enclosure, I assume this is the concecpt with the "wool tuning"? My pods will be hollow also. Thanks for the encouragement. I will post pics of the pod build.

I go to a local upholstery shop for my vinyl. They let me look through all thier rolls and take samples out to the car to color match. Just a thought.

Looking for a good component set

That looks like a good choice. You like the alum. cones, any reason why other than power handling? I think I shall buy a few different flavors eventually to try. I also want to try the Dayton 2" dome if the 3"er doesn't have the output I need. The daytons would look cool and can handle alot of power. They look like a giant tweeter, haha. Now that I understand what I am doing I am looking forward to more projects.
