My 15" xcon in its new enclosure by audible customs

WOW, I am SOOO full of ENVY right now. THAT is one gourgous enclosure and XCON sub. I voted your topic 5 stars BTW. Once I got my HO alt. installed I could hear the difference in how much authority the extra POWER made in the sub amp. You will be happier with the Sundown amp also.

    Crown Royal????

I always would buy a bottle when I go snowboarding, the whiskey muscles and false courage helps. Crown is definetly one of the smoothest liquid breakfasts. I have over 18 months sober NOW though, No more "liquid dickhead" for me.

    Welcome to the IHoP

You didn't ask but, when going out pedaling something that can really help you recover FAST is drinking something like "Endurox R4". I used to mountain bike for several hours at a time, and it made a HUGE difference in recovery time by getting in the nutrients right after a long cycle session. I was pretty prone to cramping though, so YMMV. For me and the guys I pedaled with it was night and day. I like a 2:1 sugar:protein a bit more, but what ever works. Most bikers love endurox. I used to buy powdered bulk aminos, powder cross filter, ionized mega broken down whey and dextrose and mix my own drink for pedaling. Always added in vitamin C and then a banana later. After a while I got really lazy though and would mix OJ and yogurt. Ot a banana and protein powder + water. Anyway to get sugar, vitamin C and potasium, and simple sugar ASAP. I think the home brew worked the best but it would always make me insanely hungry(I desired that effect at the time though). With the other 2 options I felt I got the same results, but the smoothy made me have less appetite. Vitamin C, potasium, and sugar is the real key. The protein was really good too but not as important. All good info, What do you eat/drink before cycling?

BanginGMC's Build Log | The Rebuild

Lookin' good Bangin'. Why doesn't anyone wear gloves? just a thought, as I have yet to cut myself. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, aim the 6.5s up a little, you will gain output. AS far as tweeter placement, get some velcro and move them around to the differant mounting locations you have available. I choose as high in the door as possible. I was afraid to put them on axis at first, but was glad when I did. YOU can set the JUMPER to around -5 or so on the crossovers with them this close to you. THE tweeters will have the most output on axis and this way you can turn them down on the crossover, and they won't even sound strained. Let me know if/when you have more questions.

I know its ugly as sin, but sure is fun to drive. the specs: 1972 Chevy Blazer, 327ci. w/Powermaster 200amp alt. and dual red tops, 1-ton axles, Bilstein shocks, Detroit locker, 4wheel disc brakes, Super Swamper bias-ply TSL's. All BTL's like this?

I've had my BTL in for a month now in my SQ set-up and it sounds amazing. I have my low pass set at 50 hz, anything above this sounds bad in my set-up. I recommend listening to the sub with the fronts turned WAY down, just enough to reference to the music, THEN adjust your LPF and see what you hear. For me, once I got to 50 hz @18db slope the BTL started sounding AMAZING. After a month THIS sub has REALLY started to loosen up and smooth out. My box 5cf tuned 32hz, 12 in. port area per cu. ft.
