Poppin' sum' tweeter cherry's this week! The RS180's tickled me so much I figured I better see what the Dayton tweets could do! Thanks again Sean for lending me equipment to play with! Being on someone else's dime has been an excellent driving force to stay motivated.

Also got started on a new painting!!

Started working on my Mustang man cave couch. Looks like its going to fall together nicely!

Yesterdays fun! Installed a 22uf cap in place of the 47uf. Should make it a little more zippy. Also changed the coil gap ratio so shouldn't lose too much inertia. Had replaced it a few months ago already, but 10 year+ old cap was defunk. lol

Hopefully they installed a fire system on the newer ones.

The newer Volvo’s definitely have gorgeous styling. Very well executed. About the only other newer cars that catch my eye as much are the merc’s or Porsche’s. Excluding exotic sports cars of course.

A 60’s Ford/Chevy 2wd truck lowered and tubbed in the rear. With a crown Vic front end and and a big block. That’s the real dream. That or a ‘55 Bel-air set up about the same. Yes please.

Maybe some day will own my first new car. Until can only dream.

Jeep goes in for repair on Monday! Finally! Will be throwing a fit if the rental car is not adequate. Has really sucked loading up on groceries and getting to the car to remember the hatch doesn’t open. Doh.

Fair enough. Fucked up thing for me is I hated Nissan and dodge the most growing up. Somehow ended up owning both of them. Now I think Toyota and Chevy top that list for me. Maybe VW/Audi for third place.

Needs struts and a timing chain. The question is: Do I have the stomach to do the DOHC. And do I buy the Bilstein 5100's again or gamble with some KYB's or similar.

Hoping to toss a grand or so and get another 60-80k out of her. Would bring my per 20k mile cost down from 3k to just over 2k.

Yesterdays fun. After being locked out several times, I was in high hopes the door switch would fix an electrical gremlin with the door locks. No such luck. Testing actuators and checking wire today in hopes its not the BCM. Could be the fob also. On the plus the window works again!

Sounds like a need vs want scenario. Would think the need to ditch the lemon would outweigh the want to save a little paper. especially factoring in unforeseeable future headaches.
