    Welcome to the IHoP

NOW I got my story straight. and the badge. Obviously I likey this car ALOT, probably the fact its my favorite color and looks SO FLY. I never thought I would be checking out BMW's, let alone thinking about buying one. I have always wanted a car thats AWD but am not that fond of Audi's, SO I was happy to hear that the BM'ers came in AWD also. My biggest thing with any car is being familliar with what they require for maintenance, LIKE a Honda needs a timing belt and tune-up every 60,000 miles, and about the ONLY other thing that will ever wear out is the CV joints and clutch. Otherwise the Hondas have VERY LOW maintenance. What should I expect for routine maintenance on a BMW, NOT what a book says but what a BMW owner says, and has experienced first hand?

    Welcome to the IHoP

how much are you asking for the M5? SO I went over and talked to my neighbor with the BM'er. Its a 2002 326i. So the first question I ask her (Rebecca, cute little 21 yr old) ) is how it handles in the snow? She tells me that its AWD. WTF, I didn't relize you could get an AWD BM'er. The next question is of course, how often does it need work or breakdown? how does she like it? Man if a 21 yr old girl can afford one, I should be driving one too.haha.

If my ATV knowledge is still keen that looks to be a late 80's Honda 300 4x4 The Honda TRX's have looked pretty much the same since the late 80's. Even the new ones look about the same.

BanginGMC's Build Log | The Rebuild

If you are happy with the output of the 6.5's and they blend then don't worry about changing the aiming. As far as the gain go's, the drivers might not sound distorted, but will start to sound VERY strained. What is the output voltage on your HU? you will have to look it up in the HU specs. What do you have the gain set to? what frequency and slope are you crossing the comps over at?

I can't find what I posted before, I'll try to condense it. Dextrose is the simplest form of sugar that we can eat. It is basic energy for cells, and replenishes the stores. It makes the biggest insulin spike and converts to blood glucose ASAP. Glucose is basically Dextrose, just in the blood stream. Using it right after a work out has some other advantages. To sum it up, right after a good work out you have a few things in your body you want to take advantage up. Blood flow, high growth hormone levels, etc. You also want to stop some bad things like cortisol. Cortisol is the hormone that tells your body to break down muscles rather than fat for energy. Physically right after a work out blood is routed to the muscles you just used, so you get the sugar to them when you take it right after a work out. Chemically it's a bit more complex but it basically sets off a growth chain reaction. Sugar and a high insulin spike stop cortisol. Insulin helps shuttle nutrients into cells from the blood. It also works with growth hormones and is beleived that in the climate in vivo right after a good workout increases the bodies growth factors. It can increase it to mega super big amounts(technical term). Since you're also taking in protein right then it helps replenish cells with protein lost or broken durring the excercize. Everything works with synergy to quickly and efficiently get the muscle cells replenished. Matt you rock, thanks. Thanks for the tips Brother, you do Rock.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I have had the '77 since I was 20, and LOVE to drive it. The '77 is also a classic. BUT Its all my moms fault for gifting me the '94, Now I have more trucks than I know what to do with? SO I will use the '94 for awhile, and maybe sell it. Thank god my friend has land I can park them all on or I would really be screwed for parking. Other than that keeping them all insured is a bitch too, SO which ever one I'm using at the time I have covered I guess.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Its a '96 I got for FREE with NO tires or rims or rear fender. I paid 500 bucks for the new ITP's and some beater rims, and the tan aftermarket fender came with the machine. A new battery, carb rebuild, and a tune-up later and I am ridin' baby. The Honda is ugly as sin BUT is a GREAT starter machine for my 9 year old daughter and all my nieces and nephews. I am hoping to a 550 Grizzly with power steering for my Wife some day , then the 660 will be mine (hence the better rims and tires) and the Honda will be my daughters. The Honda runs PERFECT and can't be killed.hehe.

    Welcome to the IHoP

So heres a picture of the newest vehicle in the fleet, I have WAAAAAAAY to many vehicles. I really like the color of the truck but it needs some bigger tires in a badd way. I wont be using my other truck for the time being so I am going to swap The BFG's on to the '94. The '77 Ford, I will probably turn it into a truggy, since I can hardly give it away, but it runs like a beast and is a TANK to drive. a shot of the tires, 33 x 12.5 x 16.5's. I need to buy a 2.5" lift kit though, so it will probably be a month or two.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I spent 4 grand on the Grizzly and another 1500 on the trailer last spring, So I had to look the other way when it came to the bald ass tires cause I didn't have any money left. Everybody always asks "You ride the Grizzly, Right?" Nope, its my wifes, I ride the Honda.lol. I like the low center of gravity and the clutchless maual shifting. I already have the ITP Mudlites on my Honda, But the Grizzlys tires are bald as fuk. They are loaded with plugs, dry rotted and bald. THey wanted $650 just for the tires, at the local shop, not even counting the tax and mounting cost. I can mailorder them on the new rims, Already mounted for $675-700. BUT I will have to wait for them to come, aahhhh.
