I will probably giving my wide snowboard to my 19 yr old nephew for xmas. He's has huge feet too and will ride it more than me this year. I'll just have to borrow it back when I need it. I will be busy teaching the youngest to ski this year anyways, and the oldest boards with her friends.

WOW 16's people make fun of me for my 13's. Really? I knew a guy that was wearing 12's at 12 years of age... 13 doesn't seem so out of the question. I starting wearing 12's right around 14 or so; 5'0" 200 lbs. and size 12 shoes, I was a goofy looking motherfucker I am done growning, I hope. My son is well going past me. He is 16 and is 6'4", 260lbs and wears size 14 shoes. I just bought mens size 9.5 shoes for my daughter that will be turning 14 this month. She is easily going to pass me by here directly, she is already almost as tall as me.

I shagged cars for an Audi/VW dealership in the mid 90s. We would pick them up with 15 miles or so on the odometers. Then proceed to break them in driving 200 miles over Vail and Loveland passes at mach 1. The Jetta's where fun to drive, as where the Audi Quattro's.

Should add alitte extra oil capacity too. looks good, are you putting a bumper back on?

You got the car from out of state didn't you? Colorado requires a VIN inspection before the will give up the plates.

Er'....its a gift for me, so I am trying not to be to picky. My logic is get the craptastic block set I have now replaced for everyday use. Then I will invest in my own 10+" Chefs knife for when I am in the kitchen. This will keep the kids off my knifes. Why do you want your kids to use shitty dull knives? That is WAY more dangerous. Really NO ONE EVER should be a knife set. There is no way in hell it is the right choice for anyone. Installation is the key in stereos, fit is the key in knives. No two people cut the same. Don't be dumb. Take the same budget and buy a Chef's knife. REALLY. A paring knife is a nice addition, but can be had cheap. I would argue that too sharp a paring knife makes them harder to use. I like to use my thumb as a knife stop and for that reason find myself using the one with the inferior edge on it, but it does fit my hands well. The Fabeware set I have now is dangerous and needs to go away. I understand that the 'fit' is the control point and all else is arbitrary. I will invest in a quality chefs knife, but still need a decent block set too. Nobody does. Why do you think you are different? It is really ALWAYS a bad idea. Ok, I NOW understand your logic, and also see how it applys to NOT buying a pan set either.

I have the W talked into a poly cutting board.

My wife and roomate don't use my knives unless I hand it to them actually. I do appreciate the advice, don't think it was in vein. I now have something to set my sites on for personal knifes. Sounds like it should be well thought out purchase. I also want a wood cutting board but the W keeps telling me the wood will hold germs. I have a glass one now. Ugh, you are killing your knives Throw the glass away. Buy a wood board and then buy cheap as poly sheets to use on top of it for flesh. Wood is SO MUCH faster you'll be shocked. It cuts my prep time down in half. I tryed googling these poly sheets or plastic sheet liners, but could find any? Is it like parchment paper?

I will ask my wife. People FREAK for them. The real trick is to use the absolute most flavorfull cheese you can find. It allows you to use less cheese and then you have less oil. We regularly buy +$20/pound aged cheese. We serve them in individual ceramic dishes. It stays lava hot, and there is less oil. You can't find these in the US though. The presentation is practicle and impressive. I'm sure you could get it done with a soufle crock. http://www.kitchenar...nware_1148.html It's simple cheese, cream, onion powder, black and white pepper and salt. I like yukon gold. Thanks, I found a "good" sharp cheddar block cheese that I hope will be good for it. We shall see! Yummy!! Sharp cheddar, I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been adding scalloped carrots to everything lately, they might be good in the au gratin. Otherwise its definetly in the seasoning and cooking technique. I even put scalloped carrots in my chicken fajita's last night.

The upper leg meat was bigger than a hotdog. I had never seen king crab this big. One leg filled me up. Lord.... I need at LEAST a cluster. Crab doesn't fill me for anything. You definelty wouldn't be a cheap date.
