What goes into an "sq" system?

A decent SQ setup will sound balanced with a good soundstage. Alot of this is acheived through the install as much as the equipment choice its self. I found understanding how the human ear and brain process sound helped alot also in creating the SQ illusion.

    Sundown NeoPro 6.5" Pre-Order

Are you ever going to produce a 12" neo mid? I will be first in line for a set IF you do! Even if the never make production, I will buy the prototypes.

    Sealing off the trunk....

I run a set up like this and enjoy all the sound coming into the cabin. I actually listen with the seat up about half the time and it sounds good. I put the seat down or open the ski pass through when I want to get nutz. I think eliminating the trunk from the equation allows you to here the sound from the sub without the coloring of the sound. Also eliminates trunk rattle. I will admit that the BTL I run does have mech noise so when going for SQ I personally close the seat to eliminate the extra noise.

Door trim clips won't go back in

You can usually buy longer clips at the autoparts store. Otherwise a few screws work good.

    the Big three

No Problem. I know sometimes I am picky and sometimes not. Just depends on the build theme. And definetly support the SSA store whenever possible. Good luck with the build.

    the Big three

http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/categories/Wire%2C-Cable-and-RCA%27s/ Honestly for as short of run as you need, you could get away with 4ga on 200amp or less. If your not that worried about beauty then you also could just buy cables at your local auto store or wal-wart, that already have ends on them.

    08 scion xb^2 B2 products galore.

The build is looking good Homie!!! Those are some massive terminal blocks!!
  19. I would recommend 2/0 wire or two runs of 1/0 wire. A 1/0 wire is capable of tranfering roughly 250 amps @12 volt for about 12 feet, any longer and the wire will become the limiting factor on how much power you can transfer. Here is a chart as a guideline. When in doubt, run bigger. Don't forget to do the big3 also. Also, you can purchase 2/0 wire for cheaper than two runs of 1/0, if you havent already bought wire. Here is a good online source for wire. https://weldingsuppl...F:OR:terms::PA2

I am still on the fence if I should just buy the food processor the Kitchenaid mixer I just scored. I know even if I dont like the attachment I can sell it in a heartbeat. I shall check to see if they have them in the store today, to check out the design in person and compare to the stand alone units.
