Don't waste your time with a roller. Just buy ALOT of the 50 cent brushes(use once, and throw away) and a box of latex gloves. Lay the resin on thick, it will self level. The biggest trick is have everything ready before mixing resin. You see I have ref marks on my woven cloth so I can place it quick while resining. My only other trick is know my control points and not worrying about anything else. the 7 "P's" of building. Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

Amazing instrumental. Amazing stage show. These guy's are performing in Aspen in a couple weeks.

I do miss those tires. Their road roar made me feel like I was driving some monster or something. My bias-ply TSL Superswampers sing like a yeti on pavement.

Glad I never had acne then. We as americans are very close minded, alot of natural cures out there. We are just to conditioned to think ONLY a dr could possibly solve a health problem.
-
It is suppose to be the first pee of the day. lol. Heard of ppl doing it for acne too.

They can only do what the idiot behind the volume knob tells them to. yeah i hear that lol i just was just seeing if someone might have had one and seen what they thought about it What the fuck is curuios?

Believe it or not other ppl have researched the matter also. Why would you only want one person"s opinion?

I have not personally used any of these products. But the general consensus is the resin made for marine use is not as brittle, and has a little give if thats what you are concerned about. As far as the fiberglass, use the woven cloth and do it with one piece when possible as AC guy said. I also recommend the "gold bondo" if possible, but no neccesary. I know AC dude does this for a living but I honestly thing he is over thinking it. Use the resin and bondo you can find locally and go for it. This is my favorite quote for the AC guy in your link " ...And it's not about craftmanship. A trained monkey can do it. it is all about the proper tools and the proper knowlede." I SOOOO disagree, Its all about craftmanship and having a plan before starting. KNOW your control points, only worry about your control points, and don't fiddle fuck with the plan out of inpatience. ONLY worry about your control points. Next is a quote from you "...Yeah I soaked the cloth in resin, then cut strips of fiberglass mat and placed them everywhere, then dabbed them with a brush til they soaked the resin, then waited about 15 minutes and did another layer of mat and resin." I suggest having your single piece of woven cloth cut roughly to size(always alittle big), then resin the pod first, lay the woven mat on the pod, then finish by brushing more resin over the woven cloth. DO NOT do another layer of woven cloth or resin until first resin is dry. I used two pieces on each pod and just delt with the minor little seam via bondo. My dash pods in there too. These where my last pods I built for the 10"s. I have a different setup now with the 12"s. I just need to sell these one's to someone wanting 10"s in their Honda.

Sounds like homeboy got into some of that Cali glass and lost his mind.

My wife thought it was a night and day difference between the front and read drive. I can't remember what she said was the difference though. lol Most companies have a return period if you find something you like more. I think ours had a 90 day. I earned a 1k commission on a side job I did back in october and was going to give it all to Aaron and Mark for some ZED Dreadnought love, but the wife had other plans. The things we will do for pussy.

This is a picture of the setup I have. The nozzle makes for easy filling of body panels. I love that they have different densities for different app's.

I bought the wifey this one in october and she loves it. http://www.nordictra...01_67001_124253 I actully bought this one but they were out of stock and turns out theres like 15 different companys that just re-badge. So they gave me 100 bucks off and sent the Nordictrack. http://www.healthrid...rear-drive.html Well after looking for 2 days and it seems stores only have minimal stock, I went to dicks sporting goods and found this one http://www.livestron...130e-elliptical I got a decent deal on it, I think. 899.99. One of my friends got the same one as me at Sports authority for like half price bc it was last yrs model. I ended up paying 899 w/free shipping as I bought straight from the site. http://www.healthrid...rear-drive.html Did you try any of the rear drive models?

Some more ideas.

Just an example as I know you are doing kicks. I like the foam idea bc it gets away from the volcano look.

I must of missed where you are but sounds sweet!!

I mine as well order a few gallons of resin, mekp, and mat while I'm at it. If you're looking at the two part stuff, it will NOT dissolve with a solvent. Alright thanks. Yeah sorry Stefan, it was early. Ryan is correct about the solvent not dissolving the two part. The ppl I have seen use the two part carved it out afterwards. The 2lb is soft like great stuff. I think there's a build log on here with a step by step.

Sadly I have to admit that the douche is how I found FI and SSA. Mainly bc he had a Honda.

Two part foam is superior to the crappy canned stuff. you can get different densities also. The stuff I used on my doors this last time is even sandable and paintable. http://www.uscomposites.com/foam.html
