Back at it again, doors or kicks?

You seem confused? You should study the way the human ear precieves sound and I think you will have a better game plan. Know your control points and quit second guessing them.

If your car has the recessed plug holes that have the huge boot on the end then your problem could be as simple as cheap plug wires. I refuse to use anything other than NGK wires on my Honda. My first car that had that plug boot style setup would stall on the highway and I would change plug wires with extras I had and the car would restart. The mechanics shop I have used for 15 years told me that cheap auto parts store wires will do this every time. Another note. You can test plug wires with a DMM. They shouldn't have more than one ohm resistence per inch of lenght. so a 10" wire shouldn't read above 10 ohms or its bad. my car has coil-on-plug boots so no wires to worry about. i've been driving a few days now and no problems so far. Every component on your car has an extra wire to give feedback to you ecm. So theres that many more wires to go wrong. Glad you got if fixed.

And that +1 was from me Don. I know how hard it is to work with the general public. People have preconceived notions of how situations will go down and can't grasp the fact that what they think and reality are two totally different things.

Headroom is everything in audio. ALWAYS going to get better results when your not pushing things to thier limit. What other mid's are you thinking of using? Keeping exodus, but using a 3" - 4" midrange in replacement of the tweeter / possibly going to 3way. IF I had an MS8 I would definetly plan for a 3 way. With that much processing I Definetly wouldn't be wasting my time trying to mount the midrange and tweeter in the kicks though. I would suggest starting with a fullrange 3" or 4" and adding the tweeter if you think you need it at that point.(why I said plan on a 3 way)

Sounds like the auto tune on the PXA-H100. I turned the sub and midbass amp gains down while runnuing the auto tune program to try tricking the mic and program. The Aura amp will only do mono when bridged. If you are feeding the the drivers a clean sig, you should be able to run about triple rated power to the mids. This will allow you the power for the dynamic peaks that you are lacking now bc you are clipping the shit out of them right now.

Says the guy who lives in Utah, rofl. There is everything here, Utah newb Definitely the worst state to enjoy food in the country. And no, not a Utah noob. My largest customer is there so I've spent plenty of time there. There are MANY places in Canada I'd rather live. Salt Lake City is a shithole. Have you traveled to any other parts of the state? And I couldn't agree more that the people and food suck. Was just curious if you had enjoyed any of the back country?

These pods are for sale along with the set before them. These would work GREAT with a 10" pro audio driver, they just couldn't handle the sub freq's. The other set is for a 6.5" or 6.75" and have flat backs so could be mounted in about any vehicle.

I do miss those tires. Their road roar made me feel like I was driving some monster or something. With the windows down the exhaust drowns out the tire noise and windows up I can't hear the tires or exhaust I don't have doors/windows. On the other hand the new flowmasters sound sweet and throaty, like music to the ears.
