I have been sober for a few weeks now, so not drinking 400 calorie stout beers all day is helping. I am working on my core strenght also.

I don't have dado's....but have a router installed on my table saw so that is no problem. What I didn't follow was it sounded like a double rabbet was being recommended. I thought double rabbet also until the latest sketch up. I dont think he'll need any rabbets given the PVC's natural spring to roll in on itself once he cuts it. I dont think a rabbet joint is needed either. IF anything I would leave a tab in the middle of the PVC and do a mortise and tenon in the middle. Would lock together like Lego's! Love it, completely hadn't thought about doing that. I would think you could plunge cut in the middle and from the ends and leave two tabs.

My dad was a deisel mechcanic, and owned his own shop when I was a kid. I spent endless hours out on service calls in the dump or out in the middle of nowhere. Was usaully a track pealed off in two foot of snow, engine work, hydraulic cylinder, etc. I had a blast! He would let me run the boom on his service truck.

As long as the roof is up to the snow load where you live should be fine. The roofs are loud when it rains if its near where any one sleeps. Fuck, I never even thought of snow. It will be a back corner furthest away from any bedrooms. I think the urethane will deaden it enough. For what you are doing would peel and seal for roofing work for that? If snow is a concern add some 2x4 innner supports. This is what I will be coating the entire outside with. I used it on the cooling towers at Sears and Kmart and it's held up superbly and thats being assaulted with highly acidic water. http://www.nonslipcoating.com/ I wouldn't waste anymore money than needed. The factory paint/coating should be good enough for the girls you live with... oh wait, disregard the latter. The roof should be fine too, just keep an eye on it the first few snow storms.

I had three friends help me load and unload a truck full rock yesterday, was definety easier with friends. I scored 5 baby lilac bushes and two others at the same place. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask and the guy said take them. SCORE!! I just spend 80 dollars on two bushes from the nursey so I am stoked getting 7 free!

I think they're telling you to rabbet joint the wood. A dado blade works good if you have one, then notch pipe to fit tight.
