    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Went on an emotional roller coaster last night. Realized the truck I bought only had a Dana 50 front end. Being determined, I found a Dana 60, for a smoking price. But was about four hours away. Said fuck it and PayPal’ed the guy a deposit anyway. He tells me he’ll be out of town for a week and a half. Start making plans to pick it up when he gets back. Then this is when the deal got real sweet. He tells me he is heading to Moab and will deliver if I live on the way! Fuck yes I live on the way!!! All is better and life is good!!

Baby Mila broke her leg this week by running into a bed frame. Should heal like lightning at her age at least.

Looks like Annie decided on Ole’ Miss. Washington state had 45,000 applicants and she did not make the cut. Oxford is a nice small quiet town though so definitely feel better with her going there.

Usually most are open until mid April. On years like this one with historic snowfall, some stay open till the end of May. I believe there is a mountain or two that only close about two months of the year snow willing.

Have had good luck running them on other axles in the past. Figured if there was any reason not to on the mustang you would know. As always thanks for the input, much appreciated.

More out of lust. Need to rebuild the ones on there, so figured was a good time to upgrade. I realize there will be little if any improvement over drums, but will look way sweeter.

Think I may have got a little zealous trying to fit a 12 incher’s in the mustang trunk. Is definitely going to end up being a built-in box. Doh That or buy a set of 10”s...

Just went and bought the last five alder doors for the downstairs. They were 299 when I bought the rest the couple years ago and they are now down to 199!! Woot woot!

Hey Ryan. What are your thoughts on converting the 8 inch to disk brakes? Would love to use the El Dorado calipers for the park brake. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-8-or-9-small-bearing-rear-disc-brake-conversion-with-parking-brakes-/232579559920

Got my Ford 1 ton towed home!! Was about an hour away. Stashed it at my dads shop. Where he has a forklift and a flatbed trailer. Should make easy work of pulling the axles and disposing of the rest.

Had to take my days off this week. Was turning into a little cunt. All work no play makes Jared a very dull boy.

Just sold mine a couple months ago. Was a nice wide long one for us big footed folk. Got what I paid for it so I was pretty happy.

H-pipe it is! Any particular kit you would recommend? I don’t need stainless as dry as it is where I live, aluminized does just fine. The original exhaust on the GT’s was only 2 inch. I would think with the crimped bends 2-1/4”would be about equal to 2”. And more than sufficient for a cruiser eh? https://www.cjponyparts.com/dual-exhaust-kit-2-1-4-aluminized-small-block-v8-1965-1973/p/EXK7K/

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

What do you think of this kit for the mustang Ryan? In regards to doing 2 1/2 inch? Or any other information you have about the company. https://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200832-65-70-mustang-2-5-crossmember-back-w-x-pipe-sfm03.html My goal is to have more low-end drivability as it’s the wife’s car. With the Holley and the 2 1/2 inch on there now, as soon as you let off the brake it was doing 30. I put the Edelbrock 600 back on. Just curious if you think 2 1/2 will be fine or should I look for a 2 1/4 kit? TIA
