How to master the art and science of acoustics?
j-roadtatts replied to altoncustomtech's topic in Advanced Discussion
Sound waves can only travel through objects that are thinner than the waves lenght. So my guess is the higher frequencys are being absorbed by objects as they travel to you in the rear. Of course the lower frequencys can travel through a lot thicker object bc the waves are longer peak to peak. I have the opposite problem. The closer I can get the drivers to my ears the better they sound. -

I will give the salt on the ribeye a college try and see what I think.

My 9887 I won on monday is in the mail!!! The amp J is hooking me up with is on its way too!!!!!! I also scored a Kenwood sub amp. Now just need my midranges and tweeters.

Happy Birthday Steve!! Have a good one.

To each their own, I like my ribeye just ther way I cut it. I make my own blends of seasoning in batches and bottle them.
-
For you young folk.

I season alot of things when cooking but ribeye's is NOT one of them. I love seasoning though, I buy new ones almost everytime I go to the store.

finally scored a 9887 for the truck!!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330722243509?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I have Buttermilk biscuits and Square dance rap in my collection. I love teh oldskool rap.

Putting anything on a ribeye is a sin in my eyes. You are ruining it even with salt and pepper.

Anyone have a belt drive garage door opener? The chain one I have drives me nuts and I am wondering if the belt ones are quiet enough to justify the money? in this case 200 dollars.

Happy belated B-day Chop!!!

I still need a sub amp for the truck. I am looking for something that will do 200-400 watts RMS at 4ohms. I am trolling for a old skool RF Punch 400.2, 500.2 or 600.2 if anyone has a lead. There are a few on Ebay but I am waiting to win a 9887 first.

I went to change the spark plugs on the Xterra and found out that I must pull the intake manifold to get to plug 4 and 5. The service manual only calls for them to be changed every 100k. Still unfuckingreal. http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f23/how-change-spark-plugs-2005-gen-2-frontier-40507/

Distributor is in the wrong place. It's a Chev. I saw blue and was happy. OMC doesn't normally do that to me. I can live with the 350 concidering I get free usage of the boat until my dad decides to sell it to me.
-
Unfortunately I don't. Full 100% satisfied iTrader on 19 rated transactions. Good mix of buying selling and trading. I honestly only use most forums besides this one just for classifieds lately. J Thats funny shit J. I googled the 260 amp you have to find power specs and your SMD listing is one of the first pages.lol

I have been living on fruit for breakfast (pineapple, mandarin oranges, etc) and tuna with saltines for dinner.

Holy shit man! Pics of the rest! I will snap you guys some more pics next time I am at my dads compound. IF anyone needs gun parts or any rare type gun stuff I will set you up with the old mam. He is very knowledgeable.

Chevy 5.7L actually. I was stoked it fired so easy after sitting 10 years. Dad said he had it serviced right before parking. After the test run I am required to buy batteries and new tires for the trip to Lake Powell!!!

I am SUPER stoked about the boat. The old man still hasn't shot me a price, but at this point will let me use it a few times and go from there. Dad was a diesel mechanic for quite a few years. Thats just one corner of the garage, there is about 10 more boxes.lol If you couldn't tell, canary yellow is his favorite color.

Yes fully functioning. My dad has been collecting parts for like a year now to get them together. Each one is set up alittle different. I can't wait to shoot them!!!!!!
