I could not agree more that cooking eggs is a good test of ones cooking ability. I like mine poached!

Nonstick is good with two teenage daughters in the kitchen.

Bacon is a snap in the oven on some Parchment paper. I don't keep the grease though.

It is supposed to be, but it really isn't. Buy silicone utensils. The nonstick I have claims to be metal utensil safe but I still don't use metal on them. I would not recommend cladded SS to someone unless they are an experienced cook. What brand/set did you get? Swiss Diamond. Solid set. My wife scratched up the 10 inch pan with metal spats. We have a set of Oxo silicones but she wouldn't listen. The Nonstick set I have are the Wifeys so she is nazi about the utensils. she will even flip if a pot or pan ends up in the sink.

Looks like a steal if your on a budget. I have an older DEH model and just use the blue plug on the back for the 3.5mm input.

Love the idea, I hate keys. Bluetooth wouldn't be the favored technology but probably cheaper than doing an RFID setup.surprisingly they're not using a technology like NFC instead of BT. http://www.nearfieldcommunication.org/bluetooth.html Sounds like the BT is probably the better choice for the lock as the NFC claims to work at only very short distances.(under a foot) I hadn't thought of the power consumption of the BT either though. I prefer the Kwikset brand locks and door knobs over any others I have found is the other reason. Will be sweet when hands are full and don't want to dig for keys. FTW

When I took that I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I was born in Canton Ohio, raised in Niagara Falls/Buffalo NY, lived in The City, San Diego CA, Mission Viejo CA, and Lake Forest CA, and now reside in central NC. I figured as a mutt I would show up in odd places. But I got pinned down to Buffalo NY, Rochester NY, or Milwaukee... Yeah I was surprised how accurate it was. Neat. I thought it was neat too. I answered at least 1/3 with "other". I had heard most of the terms, just had to answer with local dialect.

I can't help but enjoy the technology around me. I happen to need a new lock anyways and can afford it so why not. The BT was all I could find and everyone in my house has a smartphone so no need to even carry the fob.

Speaking of no keys, I fell in love with the bluetooth fob on the Challenger. I like the convenience of BT setup though as far as hands free unlocking. Anyone have experience with this setup? Any flaws you see? Any other suggestions?
