Is the temp job still screwing you around?

Fucking snow storms and wrecks anyways. I was about to piss myself by the time I got off the interstate.

swapping out stock interior speakers.

You should be able to find a set that fits your ride with no cutting. Sometimes the mounting ring in the car is plastic and ppl will set that aside so they can return to normal if needed. Then make a wooden baffle to install the aftermarket speakers. As install is 90% of making ANY speaker sound good. I would suggest skipping the 4x6 and just focus on the other speakers. -
The Type R setup was a prefab box that I added a 3/4" strip of wood wrapped in matching carpet to the bottom to seal it up. Also screwed side filler panels to the sides of the box before putting it in the trunk. (see pic) The particle board in the trunk on the type R setup was just for template purposes but is the only pic I had of that setup. I screwed a 2x4 cut as wide as the trunk to the back of the box, one across the top and one across the bottom. Once the final panels where cut and carpeted that setup worked great as you could hide the wires AND left lots of trunk. I believe that box was around 2-2.5 cu ft. The FI setup enclosure is huge and had to be build partly in the trunk as the box wasnt going in fully assembled. Both setups work great in regards to being able to brace the rear deck against the top of the box. As those are usually flopping like fish in an Accord. lol Cheapest sound deadening I ever did. I would hit up Alton (a member on here) and see if he will design you an enclosure to fit your trunk.

The 12" setup before that. This one looks built in but really isn't.
-
This box is built in. The total volume of the enclosure is 6.3 cu ft. As you can see the trunk is a little small. I can still get the spare tire in and out though.

As with any trade I just can't look at them the same. I am definitely not complaining as I can't really think of another trade I would want to be in that is realistically possible.

I only think you would be short term. Long term I think you'd have to be doing something else to help people bro. J I will go donate my time at a soup kitchen.

Check out the SSA store. Plenty of good speakers and amps to pick from in there! -
Any SSA sub offered will not leave you disappointed. I have a 15" DCON with lots of port area tuned to 35hz on 400 watts and its knocking AND has great tonality. As I have a 15" BTL on 2000 watts tuned at 32hz in my DD driver thats saying something.

Meh. I started tattooing so young and people pay me good money to do it so I can't complain as its a job. Truth be told though I would be perfectly happy if I woke up tomorrow and never seen another tattoo or piercing.

Sounds like you are going to need an "sq comp" setting no matter which midbass driver you pick. As sq comps seem to be so subjective and bias towards looks of the install. And what an RTA says is flat will most likely be way to sterile sounding to your ears. So why not focus on getting a driver that will add some color and warmth to the midbass for your regular use settings? You are correct that creating the illusion of a single point sound source and good sound stage will be easier with a 2-way. As far as driver size and install go's understanding how the ear preserves sound and the sound waves interact will help you dial in the sound stage. Ask me to elaborate if you aren't grasping this part as its a long subject, but I am happy to give my input if needed? So that just leaves output. Volume on the stereo means nothing to me as all music material is recorded at different levels. You plan on wailing on these when your not at an sq comp and the sq comp is at low volumes. You can tame a high efficiency/high output speaker at low volumes easier than you can get high output out of a sterile sounding speaker. Right?

You will definitely need a sound processor of some sort if you are wanting a flat frequency response. What is the reference level (volume) they use at competitions?

Japanese style art is cool. Not my cup of tea, but looks clean and simple. Which translates into the tatt aging well usually if done correctly and not to small. My general rule of thumb with tatt images is do them big enough to tell what they are from 10 foot away (detail wise). Second is make them fit and flow with the body part part/muscle structure, as this will compliment the tattoo (not to big, but not to small). These rules keep tattoo's from looking like birth marks and/or looking like they are just floating around in space.
-
Tattoo's aren't for everyone. As with everything in life. Different folks, different strokes. That being said if you want one pick an idea and sit on it for 6 months or so and if its still what you want, your probably safe. I personally see them as a reminder of the trials and tribulations I was going through at that time. As few of mine have any meaning beyond that. Also good therapy as it helps clear your mind.

He drew my big arm piece. Thanks for the kind words J. I look forward to putting the finishing touches on the one sleeve and jamming out the other arm! Aaron, I wish I could of done the tattoo for you also. I have visions of a b&g super realistic one up the back of the other arm! As I started tattoo'ing out of enjoyment and to be that guy that tatt'ed up all his friends and family. I love leaving a piece of me on people for life and also their souls. I am honestly considering doing another one on the left arm. This one took 14 hours. But then again, a sleeve is something in the back of my mind also. Not to say homie was slow but I personally could of done it in quite a bit less time. I am VERY deliberate and don't mess around as time is money. With that being said, I will tell you the same I told Jordan. A plane ticket, rental car and hotel are probably less than paying someone to do 8-12 hrs of tatt work on you as I would do the work for free if you make it here. I can't accept free work. Meh. I usually tell friends and fam to just pay enough to cover supplies and overhead. I would already have done a cross country trek to ink and meet all the SSA brothers, but life has not permitted it. Aaron, Take the time to take this man up on the offer. I am hoping to make the trip in May or June for my next session. Bring the lady along to see CO too. J If its meant to happen, it will happen. The offer is there for you Aaron. I know how you are about taking things for free as you wouldn't even let me give your boy Lego's without giving something in return. Which btw was worth about double what I sent you.

All good things must end unfortunately. And Matt believe me she tried. She (Kim) would be like "can you cum in the house and nail this or screw that". Not to mention my wife thinking I was banging her anyways. Funny thing is they got divorced bc a tree fell on her Tahoe when she was meeting her lover and that blew her cover. lol
-
She was rich before they meet so I doubt that really mattered.
-
My pay checks came from Ventura Florida. lol
-
It was the guys horse ranch/vacation home. His wifey lived there full time so when they got divorced that was the end to that job. Otherwise I would still be working for him as it was a blast.

We are talking riding off 15-20 foot tall snow drifts!!!
