If you have ever been to Red Rock's amphitheater you know how fun it is to mosh on 3 foot wide red stone seats at a crazy angle.

Yeah, I suffer from insomnia, sleep apnea, & sleep shift disorder :/ I work 6pm-2:30am but even after medication& the cpap I only get 4-6hrs if I'm lucky. It is better than the 2-3hrs of broken sleep I was getting before doing the sleep study. Sound's about par for me too Chuck.

Don't forget to run a sealed battery IF it is in the passenger compartment. Conventional battery's let off toxic gases, as why they are under the hood. I have even seen battery's explode from high wattage system's. Spraying liquid acid EVERYWHERE. -
I see I am not the only on with insomnia. lol haha

Why do I never see high efficiency subwoofers used for SPL purposes?

DAMN, I definitely can't piss that far brother. I explained the physics and also gave examples of the law being applied to level the playing field. I am from back in the day when NO music played low. FYI -
WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE INSOMNIA. I have taken enough sedatives to knock out a goddamn horse.

Look up the "Equal Loudness Curve" and you will see that a big gain is needed on both ends of the octave spectrum for your ear to hear the octave's EQUALLY. -

the box is custom built right into the trunk so i cant get back there to even see where the noise is and ya i agree they should have known this issue in the first place. Im just worried im going to have the box design changed and pay all this money only to run into more problems! What are common problems of bandpass boxes ported into the cabin via armrest? Have you searched what other people have had success with in that participator vehicle? A bandpass box plays a very narrow frequency range and is very peaky sounding. I doubt you would be happy with a bandpass if you are after SQ. Ask the shop if they can demo another vehicle for you that they have installed a BP in and see what you think. I personally have my port and sub firing into the cabin. 95% of the time I roll with only the ski pass open. I only gain a a slight gain in output with the seat down and that's only when I am wailing on it. An easy route to brace a rear deck is block up off the top off the enclosure. cheapest sound deadener you will ever do. If the plastic is what's rattling then put foam under it. Hold your hand on the rear deck and see if it stops rattling. -

There is a difference between low and loud. I believe most competitors find their vehicle's peak much higher than 30hz. Speakers are tested at one tone only, 1k hz. That's why the pro audio driver is louder in the manufacturers post T/S parameters. The only reason to look at posted SPL rating's when comparing driver's is in regards to Hoffman's Iron Law. -

No sir. I own a 15" Dcon in a 4 cu ft enclosure with 82 in port tuned to 35hz and an fully loaded UFO BTL in 5 cu ft enclosure with 80 sq in tuned to 32hz. In different vehicles of course. The Dcon has been in three different ride's in the last year. The Btl is in my ride of course. The Dcon is just as impressive as the BTL though.
