She bought the RMK new for here ex-hubby in 2008. Then gave it to my cousin after the ex left. I haven't dropped any coin on it as I wanted to ride it once. BUT being Vic has been the mech on it since new I feel I can't go wrong from an investment point of view. Will most likely give her a first payment today.

No. Not sure it'll help a ton though. Sled needs a stator. No way it is anything else. Just frustrating because I have to pull the motor to do it. Meh. Fucker. I gave him a 50 spot. lol. I have to laugh though bc I take 50 for a drawing fee and get hounded if I don't call the person in a timely manner. He is going to look over the RMK for me so I will get my money out of him one way or the other. Ouch. Tell him I am fixed up and don't need him, make sure to get your money's worth. Thanks for doing that, but use it on the RMK please My troubleshooting ghosts were just that. I didn't have a way of loading the sled and testing at RPM's. I have no interest in a 100mph track while my sled is sitting on a stand. He grew up with my cousin's wife, who is my massage therapist. She will be here in an hour or so for my twice a week massage I am doing atm to get my back tuned up. He was also my next door neighbor for about 10 years. I will get his cell number one way or the other. So we can both use him when needed.

Time to switch back to a Beautyrest pillow top I think. The Serta Perfect sleeper I bought a couple years ago just isn't cutting it for my back.

Hey Sean, did my mechanic get ahold of you this weekend like he said he would?

I would build a masonry smoker in a heartbeat if I had time. To many other projects that are priority. A Mason I worked for would build them on a pre-poured concrete slab with picking eyes. Off site. I want a smoker I can just pull out off the box and go. I will build one in the future though when I have time.

Which ones? I will have to look trough them and see. Any one you are after in particular? Not sure, was just curious really.I believe I have a 400a4, 200a2, 200a4, and a 75a2. The 75a2 looks like it was never installed.

If you aren't going to move it a DIY will really work nice. I think its a solid cheap alternative. Thanks for the extra vote. :0

Time for a homemade tamale or two.

You beat me to that one.

Looks like a no brainier Peng. Unless you can think of a reason one would be better. I am not familiar with any of the features on either brand. ie gasket setup, accessories, etc. So may be missing something?

The Primo tis made in the USA! http://primogrill.com/2010/07/17/specifications-primo-kamado/ http://www.shopperschoice.com/item_item_2141304.html?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_term=2141304&source=froogle&kpid=2141304&gclid=CLS79Zns67wCFfFDMgodr1YAag The Primo has a little less thermal mass, a little bigger surface area, cost's a little less and can be ordered via the internet. Plus supporting jobs in the US of A.

The large BGE has a cooking area of 262 sq in and weigh's 162 lbs. The Kamado has 306 sq in but only weigh's 90 lbs. So that tells me the BGE has more thermal mass.

A bigger model. http://www.amazon.com/Char-Griller-16619-Charcoal-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B005ELWI7S/ref=sr_1_2?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1393487483&sr=1-2&keywords=kamado+smoker

Neither are built solely in the US or it would be a no brainier. The BGE ceramic is cast in Mexico and they are assembled with quite a few parts from the states. and the Kamado I believe is solely built in China.
