Any suggested recipes for Mahi? Can be grill or oven. I have prepared lots of Rainbow and brown trout as that is the local catch.

The TT's have definitely grown on me. They are only offered in 3.75" BS and the Cragars are only offered in 4.5" BS.

My wheel choices are down to the Cragar's or the Torque Thrusts. As they are both only offered in one back spacing that will most likely be the deciding factor.

My daughter would steal any nice flashlight I bought so no help there. I was going to look at the brand on the one's I have but are not where I store them. As I said daughter steals them.

Those are the stock 22's atm. Not sure I want to compromise the ride quality and go to 24's and I can't find 23's in stock anywhere atm. The 22's look proportionate in my opinion. The new ride stance gives a nice prowling effect.

The Mustangs Moog steering parts arrived AND are made in the USA. I am not usually that picky with replacement parts, BUT should of shipped the others back when I seen made in Taiwan on the box.

Love the big brakes! What size rims did you go with? A before pic would be sweet.

Thats the car you rescued from under the tree? That Thing looks waaay cleaner than expected.

    More power for mids?

Looking at your build I thought contact was doubtful also. Only reason it came to mind is I just dealt with an install that the owner was unhappy with the mids ands that was the culprit. Looks like a more robust mid is in order.

    More power for mids?

You expressed concern about possible physical contact with the door panel. I would verify this is not an issue first. Otherwise I think you answered your own question.

    More power for mids?

If your current drivers are straining mechanically then you may need a beefier driver.

    More power for mids?

Gains are for matching the levels of everything. If you feel the mids are level with everything else, then your good there. Otherwise same as with the eq, either lower the gains on the other drivers in the car or boost the mids gain to match. I personally would not do multiple drivers if you can't mount them together. Sure it may be louder, but will most likely sound poor. An 8" will have more output down low as it has more cone area, but may not be any louder up high.

    More power for mids?

Now that you smoothed out the sound, do you feel the drivers can handle more power? Or do you feel like they are straining? The next option if that doesn't cut it would be find drivers with more thermal and mechanical limits. That or double up the drivers.

Thanks J. I appreciate all your support AND advise. People of your breed are far and few between. Has been an adjustment. As you know I am a very active person, so has been hard to let the pain slow me down.

    More power for mids?

What do you feel your current drivers are lacking? Output across the board or just down low? Boosting with the eq is expectable. Just a suggestion to smooth out the peaks before boosting.

With aspect ratio tires, the sizes can vary based on the tread pattern. Most manufacturers will give you sectional width measurement on a specific rim width. Use the formula to determine the tread width of a tire on different width rims. As far as what would fit best, I would be finding a tire fitment chart for the vehicle. Or looking at a forum for that vehicle, to determine what others have done and what worked.

I assume you mean with 1" of rim width? You assumed correctly. I assumed you wouldn't try fitting a 16" tire on a 17" wheel.

As a rule of thumb tire section width changes 1cm per inch of rim change.
