    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Idk my BP. My wife is the person that shaves you and hooks up the monitors, so I get a regular daily pulse check from her. Lol she tells me when my BP Is threw the roof. A lot of times it's while I'm sleeping.

I gained around 40 pounds this last summer trying to be less active to recuperate my herniated disc. Sadly my BP is directly related to my weight.

    1st active front stage setup

A cool place to hide the passive x-overs you have now, is under the stereo. The panel in the cubby under the stereo has a removable panel on the top side. This allows changing the attn settings and phase from the drivers seat. Once set, just tuck them up in the cubby and re install the panel.

Was on a nice maidan voyage with the new Holley carb in the mustang yesterday. Was enjoying myself WAY to much...until I ran out of gas. DOH. Now I know where the gas gauge is at when empty atleast.

German commands such as nein work well with dogs. If you pronounce them right, they have a sharp piercing tone that will stop the dog in its tracks. I can quiet a whole room of kids with that tone, as it cracks like thunder.

At 11 years old my golden labs hips hurt her so bad in winter. She has been peeing on the snowy end of the deck instead of going down the stairs. I don't blame her. She sees me piss off the edge of the deck all the time.

i need help choosing my sub/amp

*Can't go wrong. I run a 15" FI btl, which can handle a ton of abuse. That said there are more musical subs out there that can handle a lot of power. As Pusifer stated the SSA Xcon (and other ssa subs) sound great musically and get stupid loud. You might want to check out the SSA EVIL too. I have a 15" SSA Dcon also and it has amazing output on 400 watts. As far as amps go, 2000watts is 2000watts. So get a brand you like/trust and has good CS and you can't go wrong. Any amp over a 1000watts or so will require some electrical upgrades to your ride to preform properly. So take that into consideration. My sub box for the btl is 6.3 cu ft total. The Dcons is only like 3.5 cu ft total. So definetly make sure you are willing to sacrifice your whole cargo area if you are going with a super high powered 15".

i need help choosing my sub/amp

The Zcon and Xcon are SSA brand subs and are built in the USA. The Zed amps are also built in the USA. You can go wrong with either brand. Hard to find USA built amps without track down some old school goodness.

i need help choosing my sub/amp

If it was my money I would get the sundown amp. For a sub I would grab a Xcon or a Zcon.

i need help choosing my sub/amp

I understand wanting a sub that's capable of getting violent. I have a 15" FI BTL in my SQ build. Which is why I say you won't be anywhere near the subs limit to get loud and clear. Which leaves you some headroom when you want to wail on it. The question is rhetorical because both options are capable of producing the same output if set up properly. You will not hear a difference between the two options so choose what fits your MO.

    Ruined? Hole in sub surround...

Rtv silocone stays soft and flexable when dried. Is easy to shape. If you want it real smooth looking use wax paper after you apply but before dry. Then romove the wax paper after dried.

Show them who is the alpha of the pack. She knows who the alpha is. She just seems to forget for about 3/4 of the walk. The first and last 1/8th she is fine. Beyond that she keeps trying to pull like a sled dog. J I put the leash under one of the front legs. Seems to help. Makes them pull their head towards the ground when they pull.

Either 15" would be a great choice. IF this is truly for SQ then you will most likely not be pushing either sub anywhere close to its limits. Giving you headroom, which is good. Enclosure design will dictate which one sounds better more than anything. Make sure you are willing to sacrifice the space required for the proper enclosure for a 15". Which can easily be upwards of 5+ cuft. A smaller sub in the right enclosure will sound better than a big sub in the wrong enclosure. Speakers/subs are stupid in the sense that they only do what you tell them to do, through enclosure design, tuning, signal, etc.

I use black RTV silicone to patch holes like this. Doesn't have to be black, but that's the least noticeable.

Do you have a GFI breaker?Nope. I added a sub panel next to the main as the box was full. There's no breaker at the hot tub.The GFI is a safety to make sure you don't get electrocuted if the heater grounds out. I guess I like living on the edge. The tub is hard wired to the breaker panel and I skipped the GFCI breaker cause I'm cheap like that.

How are you going to fit it in your carry on? Something tells me he'll be shipping it highly insured. Great find Sean!! J SCORE!!! Good to know i'm not the only one trolling CL when I'm out of town.

A machine screw should work for the set screw on the amp. Hot glue for the crossover fix. You right, sealing off that truck will eliminate trunk rattle in that car. The roof panel will be the next to rattle. lol I have some 6.5 pods built for that car if interested. They get the 6.5 on axis with the drivers seat.

Band aids and triple antibiotic ointment. I should have stock as I am usually nursing a few gapers on the fingers.

  25. The kerfed port will help with air flow. This will help minimize any added artificial sound created by air leaving the port. That's the theory anyways.
