Welcome to the greatest audio forum on earth!! What size subwoofer is this? Did you model the sub in winisd or a similar program? Do you know where the subsonic filter is set? What other processing are you using in the signal path to the sub? Did you have the last port and sub orientated the same in the car? Did you change anything else other than the sub/box from the last setup? What island are you on?

Both teams that kicked the Broncos ass in the last few Superbowls. Is the only time of year I am embarrassed to be from Colorado.

Considering I just bought a Lee Jackson (more or less modified Marshall), about to buy a 2x12 cab with dual Vintage 30's, and possibly even grabbing a new guitar with EMG's or Seymour Duncans I am curious who you've added to the list. I'm jazzed for you! Can't wait to hear more about them. A ton of artists i didn't give a second thought to back in the day. The few bands I am sure i will catch the most shit for are Cinderella, Faster pussycat and LA guns. Others I have started to enjoy more with age are Great White, Deep Purple, Dio, Van Halen, Jackyl to name a few. My top bands back in the day were Quiet Riot, Twisted sister, Iron Maidian, Judist priest, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Krokus, Areosmith to name a few. Every Mothers Nightmare's first album is another. They do a good "long haired country boy" cover. Outside of Krokus and Every Mothers Nightmare I pretty much own the list. Thanks for throwing it up. Some reason it is all appealing to me a bit atm as well. I dont think I ever owned a Krokus album. Was on alot of compilation albums. Tesla and Ozzy are a few other timeless ones. I love me some Bark at the Moon and No Rest for the Wicked. Still cant stand Scorpions or Queensryche. Of course theres a list of those. Sounds like your looking for more obscure bands?

I remember having that one but dont remember the storyline. Was more into collecting for the nostalgia. lol Still have about 50 games, a few game genies, and a bunch of the NES Advantage controllers. You should check the band Jackyl out. Dude uses a chainsaw like a guitar.

Got the timing and carb dialed alittle more on the Mustang. The W is stoked. She drove it to the grocery store today! Waiting on more parts!!!

Flights to Europe are 2/3 or less the price I paid last time..... But that could be a bunch of things. Summer and you bought WAY too late. From what I see they are the same. Tickets to Hawaii are 1/4 cheaper in the spring, compared to the week before xmas like the last time i went. I assume the airlines are on a whole different paradigm with the gas company though.

They can suck a big fat dick. We're finally hovering around $1.5 / liter. Hey, some people here complained that the new city buses are painted half-purple. Like I'd fucking care if a bus is purple or not... If you work in a fluctuating pay field, you have to accept when the bubble bursts. Most the ppl I know complaining are oil field workers that switched to the rigs when the trade they where in went belly up. It's not my fault they are uneducated and chasing the almighty dollar. Get a grip and move onto the next uneducated job that's paying un-proportionately currently. I like purple! I will be painting the Mustang metallic purple.

I would think they are already under contract for the royalty's if the land is already being drilled? If not, sit on it.

The more i revisit the 80's hairband era, the more I find myself listening to bands I never would of listened to back in the day. Is cool though, get new old stuff to listen too.

Curious how long before airline ticket prices are affected by the price drop in fuel.

Anything exciting?!

Sound better in which way? Clarify and we can help you get the amp that will "sound better". A watt is a watt is a watt. An amp with weak components will peter out and not be putting out clean rated power. If you buy a Hifonics 2000watt amp and it will only do 1500watts clean power, you cant compare it to an underrated amp such as the Sundown thats putting out a solid clean 2000+watts. Of course the one will sound better, its putting out more clean watts. I am all for a violent sub that pressurizes the cabin. Just because a sub has a 2000watt rms rating does not mean it wont sound stellar on half that power. The enclosure plays a big part in this. Look up hoffmans iron law. Using the largest enclosure you can will net the most efficient setup (power wise), while still getting loud.

Not going to happen quickly. The arabs have to kill Russia and North Dakota first. Ain't obama putting in some kind of damn pipeline or something?I'm sure they will raise the gas prices to pay for it Pipeline from Canadian fields to gulf refinery's. Built with foreign steel at that. Not gonna help much.

I believe it will take a few years before the price of oil really starts climbing back up. Would guess it will be close to 10 years before it gets back over 100 a barrel.

Curious why you want steel toes for school J? I had a pair of Redwings that lasted forever doing concrete and masonry. Granted I haven't wore a pair of steel toes in 15 years, so can't vouch for them now.

I can't believe some ppl are actually bitching about lower gas prices.

I said 2000watts is 2000watts, not an amp is an amp. A watt is a watt is watt is a watt is a watt. There is NO amp that puts out MAGIC WATTS!!! If you think there is then I have a unicorn you should buy from me. You may of heard a difference from two different amplifiers, but was nothing magical. One was either more efficient, had the correct subsonic filter, was dialed in correctly, had the correct electrical upgrades in the car. etc. Without YOU knowing what it was that made the one amp sound better, it really does no good for comparison. There are many reasons to buy one amp over another. The most important would be it has the right features/functions for YOUR setup. Other reasons could be it fits in the space you are mounting it, has the hook ups in the right locations for your install. etc I believe the SSA EVIL has a 4" coil also AND a way lower FS than the Soundqubed. If your liking the Soundqubed, the next step would be figure out the enclosure size and see how it will fit in your ride. Just like a small sub in the right box sounding better vs a big sub in the wrong box. A 1000watt amp with the right electrical upgrades will sound better vs a 2000watt amp struggling for power. You will be back a week after installing asking "why does my 2000watt amp sound like it gets quieter/muddy after 5 minutes of bumping?" Not to sound like a dick, but if you learn to type paragraphs, you will probably get more help.

Welcome! You've came to the right place to learn.

What air cleaner are you going with? Will be using one of these. I need the low profile with the air gap manifold. Thats with the motor lowered a 1/2". The Holley DP is like the Lego of carbs. I still have a ton of tuning to do, so hadn't even bothered putting it on yet.

Thanks guys! I have to admit the Mustang is far from my favorite muscle car, BUT this one was purchased by my wifes gma in 1965. So is a special car. Plus has started to grow on me.

Finally finished up the engine on the mustang. Cleaned and painted the engine bay. New Holley DP'er, air gap manifold, HO water pump, aluminum radiator, and Powermaster 1 wire alternator. Installed new hoses, battery tray, cleaned up the wiring and loom. Now Its time to get the timing curve and Holley dialed in!

I had a Doberman pitbull mix when I was way younger. Had to give her away as I ended up homeless. Was an amazing dog with great manors. Luckfully had a neighbor that was in love with her.

Did it have the recoil barrel? Believe it was a bolt action model 1920.
