    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Up on the farm pap has a collection of panel wagons and vans, sad to say they are all rotted out. https://westslope.craigslist.org/cto/4880728324.html I am going to look at this one tomorrow!! The owner is close friend. First thing he says when I call him Is "you're killing me", because he knows he will give me a smoking deal.

    Love me some good ribeye!!
  21. There is the possibility of a bum channel on the amp. If it where me I would be trying them to both sets of channels on the amp, without bridging. So try ch 1-2 and then switch them to ch 3-4 and see if you hear a difference. Also try both RCA patch cables and make sure one of them isn't the culprit. That's about the best tests you can do with what you have. That and continue to learn how to tune til YOU understand what your doing. I haven't looked a whole lot at comps lately. The last two sets I bought where Alpine type-r's and Polk mm6.5's. Didn't care so much for the Polks, could get more for the money. On the other hand the Alpine's sounded great, but were the last model so can't vouch for the new one's. I would say go jam on what they have at the local store. If you you find something you like great. If not You will have a more subjective point of view for us to help from.
  22. The manual calls for the splitters in bridged mode so you should be correct there. I am leaning towards either you have 2 of the rca's crossed at the splitter or a faulty rca cord. that or a bad amp? Where did you get the amp?
  23. Why are you running the RCA spliters? That looks like the problem right there. Everything else looks good.
  24. since it already sounded good before the amp then the install of everything else should be capable of reproducing the same sound. If not better. Recheck all your wire connections to the amp to assure nothing is shorting or touching and is connected to the correct spot. Next I would try a different set of RCA cables. Where did you get the amp? Do you have another amp you could try?
