the new rockford amps dont have internal fuses you have to external fuse them yourself..

just hook up ONE coil by itself see if its louder... OR take a 9 volt battery and pop test each coil touch the 9 volt with the positive on positive and negative on negative on ONE coil it sub moves outward then its right then touch it on other coil with + on + - on - and see if that coil pushes the cone out..

yep mine did the same thing.. and was told the same thing, whats funny that it only does it on Fi spiders.. i had a pioneer SPL 8000 and was playin 15 hz thru it on 6k in a box that was tuned around 32 and the spider on it never once split and i never played anything low thru my Fi subs hell i think i could of played some good ole classic rock and it would of still done it..

do you even know how to operate a O Scope...?( is it a digital or analog O scope) digital are sorta more simple which an analog one gotta mess with a few settings.. hook the wires coming from your amp into the O scope... actually i would test my head unit first to see if it was clipping then work your way back to your amps.. cause if your head unit is clipping its gonna make everything behind it clip... then make sure the wave on the scope isnt squared off at the top (needs to be nice and curved with no squared off line on the top or bottom..

ok i understand BTL so much power 2000Watts rms that great but i saw Fs is 51hz but not much deep bass if FI BTL u are sure will do Deep bass high output will do deep bass louder ??? like FR 15hz and 20hz like that deep bass Sure you werent looking at the N3's Fs?

BTL is the best at what? If I need a sub to match my 500rms amp in a sealed box, would you suggest I get the BTL, no. So STFU. Each sub has its own duty and application. OP- IB3 is a infinte baffle sub, if you don't know what that means, that isn't for you. Plus Fi discontinued the IB3 and it will be moving to their HT line, BluePrint. Picking subs needs to be based on a few details of the install. Power,enclosure, and what your looking to get out of the setup. Sealed enclosure, X, SSD, and Q are the options. X- <400rms SSD- <1000rms Q- <1200rms. Ported, all will fit. X-<400rms SSD-<1000rms Q-<1200rms BL(3inch)-<1500rms BL(4inch)-<2000rms BTL N2-<3000rms BTL N3- is a SPL only sub. Also the BTL N1 hasn't come out yet so I can't comment of it yet fully. As far as Fs, I'm not sure which coil option specs are listed but the HiXmax coil BTL has great lowend. Hope this helps. Also giving us more details of the install so we can better answer your questions. Thought the N2 was the same as the Gen 2 so wouldnt that make it 2000 Rms or we adding all options too...

Almost couldnt finish it as the paint was NOT DRYING! got a few propane heaters going and a hair dryer or two, but even dried up the paint pooled into the 45 in the port: Got a Q10 being ordered by another buddy, gonna do a real small SQ style setup in a Jeep, that project should be started next month probably. That's another excited Fi customer; his Q12 arrives sometime around the 8th... he called up his entire city to come hear my N215 Nice job bro looks awesome!

I ordered placed my order late on Feb. 10th, It shipped out Feb. 28th, and has been sitting in Jacksonville,Fl since Friday March 4th, I live in St.Pete (Tampa Bay) it says It will be here March 7th. Alright thanks man.. then mine should be any day now! be a month March 12th... cant take it anymore!!

who owned it before? where did the cone go? i would just order a dual 1 ohm recone if your not sure cause the dual 1 ohm coil will fit the dual 2 ohm gap... not sure on the motor being different on a flatwound coil thought it was just the flat wire Vs. the round wire
