hi all , just thought i intro b4 posting all over i'm into car audio a few yrs now & have used or been exposed to different equipment & sets so i'm def not a newb so see u guys around the forum
-
yes they have been around a few yrs from what i have seen is that they used to be cheaper b4 USamps bought them over so the higher price turned some ppl off from RE & at the same time other brands were coming out too but occasionally some online stores & on ebay u get some gr8 deals on it so some ppl take advantage of that look at its specs , can drop low & do get loud while maintaining SQ heard some & used some , really good sub for the price IMHO

damn good score man :bigclap:

Which sub work great with Hifonics Brutus BXi2008D Class D?
SPL_Man replied to DEVO1's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
i heard 1 of those hif 3200w (cant say if it was that exact model) on a 2006 2000 brutus but i was not impressed seeing that a BL is rated 1000wrms & even if that amp is over rated like some ppl say & if u get 1500wrms i think that might be too close but some1 who actually has a BL will say for sure 2 SSD might be the better option -
i agree with what these guys already posted u cant hear a 3\4" more or less of a port unless u r a audiophile & have really sharp ears
-
imho if u want loud more than sq then its good but if u r accustomed to true lows like what u get from RE subs for example then DD is not for u
-
depends on ur taste of how loud since my pair of 10s does 140 on a termlab meter with only 1200wrms , the sq is very nice & its enough for me for daily use

i believe u since i once owned a pair & even with low 30s tuning they slammed pretty hard too bad i didnt know anybody with a meter back then but im sure they can hit low 140s im sure i saw some install online with a bunch of aeroports doing almost 150 with 2 Rs
