Well I purchased 2 15" ssa Icons from mark Drove all the way out from cali to arizona to pick them up... Put them in a crappy premade enclosure.. They have like 1.8 cft each if that.... more like 1.5... And lets just say they are amazing.... I can't wait to get them in a ported enclosure... They are in a 2003 pontiac vibe.. I broke my front winshield a piech of glass broke off and was stuck to my rear view mirror so theres a chunk of glass missing now were my rear view mirror is supposed to be... Anyways I'm going to be trading my car for a 64 Impala SS.. I will be most likely purchasing 2 more 15's and taking the back seats out of the impala the interior is shot anyways... and walling it up.. then throwing a bunch of bags and pumps in the back and i got a low rider thats SUBBIN!

Yeah i did. well 2 15" icons.. Truthfully i would compare the ICOn to a Mag.

Sounds cool ETA on when i'd be able to pick up some of the new 15" mags like 2-4 of em I just blew my L7's i had holding me over... And my 12" mag isn't cutting it dunno if it has something to do with flying out of my car at high speeds anyways HOOK ME UP WITH SOME PROTOS NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so, what size's do these bm's come in? any 15's? im tempted to buy 4 12"s to hold me over until i get 4 12" mags O_O or 15"

Well im bored and im going to start a new job soon, so naturally i must start a new project... The Car Anyways i'd end up taking the back seats out, doing a fiberglass sealed enclosure, for the mags at a slant fireing back, and probably do some sort of compartment were the rear seats are for 2 extra batteries, along with w.e. else i need, i'll end up pulling the floor up in the back also, if i really wanted to im sure the is enough space to go ported or if i wanted im sure i can have all the subs fireing back instead of at a slant towards the back, I was thinking the new focal 3-way series for a front stage or the CDT ES 3-way's also I was thinking a 250a alt should be enough?? For the amps im unsure for the components i havent decided exactly what i want but for the subs i was thinking 2 DD Z1's @ 2ohm ??? Anyways any input you have would be apreciated. thanks -also if anyone knows were i might beable to pick up a few sponser's that would be cool also

Hey my friend just bought 2 pbx's like 2 months ago, running of an orion 1200watt amp, anyways they were made in 04 at least thats what the sticker says, one of the just stopped working, like today i was putting some damplifier in his truck and i wanted to see his subs and it sounded funny to me, ussualy you can't even tell well the one sub sounded as if you had a piece of plastic infront of it, i think it was just the wires inside the box could be wrong tho, also i noticed one of his subs wasnt hitting at all... took it out sure enough wire'd it at 1ohm and got nothing out of it.... is there any type of warranty on these, or would he be better off just taking it back to the place he got em and see what they say, do you take trade in's 2 of the 04 models for some new ones worth a try anyways thanks They ar XS 12 duel vc's 1ohm subs

well hmm i'd have to double check they arnt mine but they are wired the way the manuel said and i checked the solder didnt see an issue, my friend took it back to the place he got it and they are sending it back to you guys for repair i guess, anyways the other one makes alot of noise like a spring sorta, seems odd do they have alot of noise like that?

guess ill buy some RL-S's some time soon do a comparison with my mag, then build a box for both the mags and RL-s's see who wins

naw i think I AM A try and find twin 250a alt's but there will be 2 of the biggest bats i can find in the back, for now... do they make 300a+ alts? i want some of those... not sure how I AM A put them in but ill figure it out!!!! Just have to leave room for the stage3 turbokit

ooo, what about just plain nuts? 4 15"s mags in the back of my scion work?? That's my next project that im starting in 1-2 months, i need to do about 3-4 more install's for people to have enough for the 4 15" mags then comes the amps and so on

so a DD z1 doesnt sound clean?? hearing loss what did you say? and hopefully it will be like 4800w if i can get my voltages up that would be like 1200w each sub and if i do change amps it will be the mmats 3000.05 x2 that would be 1500w each sub, depending on how over rated or underated those mmats amps really are

its fine fiberglass ftw i think I AM A go buy some resin and fiberglass and tuff today and play with it for awhile

well if at all possible i will try and not buy from showride's, and i do not want a 20.1... i purchased my 12's from nick before they got a dealer... if it takes me driving my arse out to NC to nicks shop or store or w.e. ill do it to get the subs from him... just personal prefrence.. and i beleive the DD z1's can be had for around 900-1400$ my biggest issue is the alt's though O_o but we will see what happens i figured i'd save around 4000$ or so probably around 4500$ before i start purchasing items.. I AM A go nuts on this. i mean 2 12's make my ears ring i can't imagine 4 15's

i like it better when you system is louder than some else's and they have 2 15's or 4, and they ask you what you have and you tell them 1 12" also CDT will sound very nice im running some CL-61's 100w each, sounds great with my 1 12" sealed but today i put my second one in, n a friends box... found out i'll need to upgrade the front stage... anyways i made one mag pop some of the screws that was holding it in... also the middle board that seperates the subs so they are in diff chambers came a little loose and rattles took me about 1 minute of playing around to do all that dumb prefab sub box's 3/4 thick no double front baffle

Subs Well there you go... 56k beware tho.. at the end i turn it up a little more.. sadly when i was mountin my 12" back in my box i accidentally slipped and the screw driver went through the soft part... of the cone.. using silicon to fix it tho.. hopefully when i get back from a 5 month vacation nick will recone it for me... atleast i hope so if not i guess ill have to buy 4 15"s and wall it?? or just put em in th eback of my car

yea... mine move more now I just ran 0 awg wire 2day.. amp seems very happy with it... anyways ill probably hook them up again and take another vid of the logo's or just one depends on how well the silicone holds up on the other 1 and yea you can use w.e. part of the video you want, also if you'd like you can edit what you want send me it an ill even host it for you

Looking for recommended box size and tuneing to produce the most bass I have some competition now... so i decided to take out the back seats and install my other mag and port it.

well since i have 2 then it would be 4 @ 27hz??

so bassically i have to go with 3 cubes tuned to 32 Hz 4 cubes tuned to 28 Hz ?? because i am putting 2 in it
