nah i'm just asking is it worth getting it for 190,also how do i set my amp to 3ohm load? because the sub is a 3ohm and my amp can only do 2ohm or 4ohm.
-
he said"i have a used JL audio 10" W7, i had it in my car for about six months, it work just fine"
-
dude is asking 190 that include the box. the amp i have right now is a alpine m850 750rms@2ohm,500rms@4ohm. think it can push the sub? or should i just buy a 10 or 12 RL-i sub?
-
what about RE subwoofer???
-
or should i just leave the loud button off and adjust the gain on the amp for sub?
-
I was wondering do yall use the loud button on the head unit??? also what is it for?? i know when i push the button the speaker thump harder and the little speaker sound more louder.

I'd take Rl-S over W7 I'd swear by TC subs, but W7 is a very nice product...my only beef with them is the price. You'll know an SPL sub. They have low Q, low MMS, low X-max, high Fs, and huge thermal power handling. what about RL-i 10inch vs JLW7 inch? about the same? Don't even think about the W7, really. If anything a W6 and the RL-i10 would be more comparable. I'd still choose the RL-p though. i use to have a w6 10inch and it was alright didn't see nothing great about it.

so tempting to get the RL-i 10,i hate it when this happen.
-
damn this suck now i have second thoughts of getting the RL-p 12. are these sub sq or bass?? wonder do the RL-i or RL-p even out perform jlw7?
-
but the RL-i 10 can only take 500rms so the single 4ohm is perfect match with my amp??

i think u got it back ward,i thought if i get a 4dual ohm sub it will run at 2ohm and single 4 ohm run at 4ohm?? i'm so confuse. no, he doesnt have it backwards. your amp puts out the most power at 2 ohms. so buying one dual 4 ohm sub, in parallel, would give you a 2 ohm load and the amp would be giving you all its power. but if you later plan on running 2 of them, 2 dual 4 ohm subs would either 4 ohms which would be giving you less power to both subs than you were giving to just one, but 2 single 4 ohms would be perfect at a 2 ohm load. so i should just buy the single 4ohm because my amp is pushing 500rms at 4ohm,in the future if i want to add another sub.

A dual 4 will run at 2 ohm by itself but 2 single 4 ohm drivers together will run at 2 ohm. Thats what he is saying. so i should get the single 4ohm then so in the future i can run 2 sub. also how can u make a mono amp run 2sub? split wire?

Hi everybody!!!!!,thinking of buying the RL-i 10 but i'm not sure should i get dual 4ohm or single 4ohm. the amp i have right now is a alpine m850 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
