ok... so how should i have my amp set ? Head Unit Settings Bass Boost/Exend = Off Loud/Loundness = Off Sub Level: + whatever yours goes up to minus a few whatever your preference Bass = 0 or lower, whatever your preference Amp Settings Gain = Set with DMM, no more than 50-60% if you dont have one. LPF = 100Hz or lower whatever your preference Bass Boost = Off SSF = 1-5 Hz lower than box tuning, or until subs start to reach its excursion level. how do i know what my box is tuned to ? i have gain set to about 60% is it bad to go higher ? seeing im running a zx750.1 to power two cvx's also is lpf= xcrossover on the amp ? SSF ? i dont have this on my amp. No its not a prefabed box It's one me and my cousin made. In the manual the CVX's declair a 1ftx1ft box for minimum sealed encloser. I would asume 2 feet x 12inches at the bootem angled up to 6 inches at the top would = a 1ftx1ft box. I have a small area to work with due to my subs being in a single cab F150.

The CVR's sounded real sloppy meh sorry a twork atm but i will add better pics

well i had recently bought a new Truck. I got a 09 F150 single cab. Im currently running a sealed Box my cousin made that fits behind my seat im semi limited in space becuse it's a single cab. The box is 4ft long by 12"deep 12" tall to a slant i belive 6" top and the Box is insulated. It's also sealed in the center between the two subs. TO make two different compartments. My cousin had told me it was better to do it that way and i belive one compartment is semi larger then the other He claims " it will make 2 different tones. Now my subs sound pretty good imo i have yet to do a distance test to tell how far you can hear it But i have heard from some people you can hear my truck from around 150 yards. The CVR's sound really good But i was thinking of Up grading to CVX x2 becuse i know they will fit in the current box im using. Now my question is, Will my Zx750.1 Power two CVX's and give me a better Deeper louder Bass. I mean i am happy with my CVR's im still working on tuning them with my Kenwood-KDC-X693 HU, as well as my Amp. But soon will be Once i signed up here awile back I have decided to Upgrade. I guess im a Dub head i listen to alot of Crystal meth Not really in to doing anything elese more then listing to it I like alot of heavy bass music like Datsik dubstep type music. I also listen to alot of detroit underground rap. In to Metal aswell and pretty much anything elese. even Listen to a small amount of country when my Girl is in the ride.

The magnet just hits the bottem of the box The CVR has a little rom but the CVX just hits also it hits enough to where im like 1/4 to 1/8th inc off of just sliding in

I Figured they where a good price for the VCX's I have seen them for around 200+ on most sites. i got the new ones for 139.00 each. I hope i can make them sound good in my truck Well glad you could join us, you should of got at me I had some CVX's for ya. Cant wait to see your build log in the truck. lol thanks ya Door speakers are next. I plan on droping some 6x9's in sealed boxes behind each seat I would also like to put some Tweeters up front. lol Just baught my truck a few months ago. so Rims wont be tell next Summer . Aswell as a airbrushing when My Farthers best friend comes upnorth from FL next summer.
