    I learned how rms power is calculated and what it actually means today in class. Cool stuff, I can't believe some companies actually advertise max power as if it matters.

      if a company switched from advertising max power to rms power, there sales would drop cause the noobs wouldn't buy it lol.

      It was my electrical networks 1 class, I'm an electrical engineering major. It was just interesting to see a term so popular in car audio pop up in class lol. And yeah, I see why they do it, it's just ridiculous haha.
