my definition of SQ is less elitist: "sound the way you want" which, while deceptively simple, is not. I seperate "hi-fi" from "sq". "hi-fi" is an objective goal of making things sound just as they were supposed to. but the end goal is my happiness, so what if I want things to sound different from the recording. Maybe if there was a bit extra warmth, or sparkle, or more depth, I would be happier. That is SQ to me -- acheiving a quality of sound that you enjoy. I only differentiate SQ from SPL/Street with the added constraint that SQ users are not specifically looking for maximum SPL. (SPL user are, and Street users attempt to maximize SPL, but retain some amount of SQ) as for the list, none of that matters in a rickety honda with fart can exaust. gotta have some environment suitable for audio as well. Ya what he said !!! i think

seeing that SQ is subjective to the person lisening, I have redefined SQ: 1. Having Quality speakers, able to be clear enuff to sound good over subs doing 152db Daily 2. having an amp ablt to push that set of mids & highs without distorting. 3. Hu has to have SQ Freq control features feel free to add to the list

I use a TellaPorter like on StarTrak... just Joking Yes there fine like that ... i plan on removing the back seat for next years prodject... batterys will be mounted properlly You better pray to god you never get in a car accident. 120+lbs of battery traveling at 20-70mph will pretty much kill you. Watch the mythbusters tissue box episode if you dont believe me never crossed my mind... but now that you put it that way i had better secure them...
