im a pureist... i wanna see what is going on with the motor, all the rubber & plastic covers is a lil less macho for me i like the monster magnets and when people see em next to a common sub its obvious why people hide there dinky mags with a boot
-
iv got to have this...
-
i own the MojoMaxx 15" Quad coil. and love it !!! but i have to agree with Jeff i think that magnet boot is hiding the ( we downsized the magnet ) so you cant see it this way thinggy if ya got it flant it...dont hide it with a boot...

the only thing i have found power wise is i am not able to split the 1ohm load between the amps like i could with the 2x SAZ 1500d setup... other than that im pullin about the same power with the 1x SAZ 3000d

the cone is a special Honeycomb / resin composite w/ Kevlar coating, makes it liter & stiffer than a pule cone ! not meant for musical reproduction but well suited for SPL. they have a new sub for 08' it's a woven carbon fiber w/ pulp backing... you should have a look http://pierceaudioproducts.com/forum/index.php?topic=345.0 the sub shown in the pics is a 1 off made for me not a production line sub

i have noticed a desterbing trend on every forum... when someone post about : Loud SPL or anything bigger than a 10" sub the SQ sharks come out in force and rain on our good time. but GOD forbidd i rant on one of there rich boy toys *cough JL audio cough* can we have a lil less nagging from the SQ bunch PLEASE??? how would they like it if i/we go into there threads and NON STOP SLAMM them for having over priced underpowered subs & whatever ??? cant we all just accept that everyone has a different point of view as to what sounds good

what was the box ported to? car/truck ? subs used ? TL or Ac Mic ?
-
the reasoning behind the 1/4 & 1/2 wave mesurement, is to avoid cancellation / i have figured out how to get the most out of 1 sub by avoiding overlapping waves that kill an spl score... DD : Awsome answer... we use a 12" sub in a sealed box / do a sweep track to find the freq as well. but it comes out extreamlly colse to the math im using...

how are you doing it ?
