Here are some photos of the new SSD10's that showed up at my door the other day. Look pretty awesome, can't wait to get them going.

When I opened these up I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear, they are way crazier looking in person. They look as though they are on some serous steroids.

Went to the shop to see how the truck is. Floor is pulled back straight, now the cutting will begin, looks like it should be done just before christmas hopefully. as it sits right now, doesnt look like much, but a bit has happened.

From testing , if you do 50% coverage instead of 25% coverage, it will be at most 3db's better. If you do 100% coverage instead of 25% coverage, it wil only help for at most 5db's. But in a lot of cases 25% coverage is enough, if you want to have less sound get in the car you have to use soundbarriers. Alpha damp is better then damplifier pro because alpha damp has a thicker layer of metal then damplifier. It's lighter but much stronger damplifier pro is already quite solid, but alpha damp feels almost twice as solid. I don't know anything about SDS as i have never used those products. But even second skin damplifier is already a lot stiffer then the best dynamat. Someone said SS is overpriced, although in my opinion their price is very competitive. The quality is great at a decent price.(but i live in Europe so prices are different, if i could buy everything at the price you guys have in the US i could buy a lot more things.)

It's fairly simple to do correctly, and twice as simple to screw up. If you don't have the experience, send it back, get it done correctly and with a warranty, otherwise you run the risk of doing it incorrectly and then you're out even more money.

You really are special aren't you..... 4 12"s is 452^2 of cone 2 18"s is 508^2 of cone I would do two of these, and bump up the power later. SSA XCON 18"s.

Thank God, some companies, like Sundown for example, change stuff up so often it becomes annoying. I ordered a SAZ-2000 about 2 month after they released, 3 months later I wanted another. And poof, they are discontinued. So 5 months after initial release they are gone...... This is one advantage companies like Kicker, JL, and Rockford have over "most" smaller companies. They keep the same product for 2-3 years. I don't think I have to worry about my ZCON's changing much in the next few months, because SSA kicks ass.
