Well if you are choosing a secondary battery, then your options are only limited by space you have available and $$$$$. lol Here is a guide for our batteries and the wattage they produce as both starting batteries and secondary batteries. One thing to keep in mind is that when you combined multiple batteries together they produce more individual power, because that optimizes the internal pressure.

1.yup http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=12#results You can just ground 1 to the chassis and then to each other, or run a wire from the front - terminal to the one in the rear and not worry about chassis and all + to + , - to - 4. yea everything has to be grounded to complete the circuit for it to work. 5.yea that should work blue is usually Rem wire, but i assume u checked that on the diagram. 6.really it only has 1 out? odd, but yea get a y connector.

Well, a long long time ago my Momma and my Daddy had sexy time and.............. lol Not such a young man anymore, but all started when I was 16. First system was a RF punch 45, punch 150, and some Cerwin Vega Moofers. I was hooked from that day and still am. Dont really think I will ever stop being a basshead, but my tastes have grown to like things not only very loud, but to really sound good too. I have always had something going on in every car I have had, even company cars much to the owners dismay. lol I was very fortunate to have the company cars for a good many years of my life, but since they were not mine I couldn't really go crazy with them and I missed it. Long story short, I lost that job and bought the Yukon. Decided it was time for something really big again and here we are. I did give it an honest effort to try and grow up a little bit with the Dynaudio and 15" Xcons not too long ago, but fact is I love it loud and in your face. Always have. I do plan on getting another car here one day and making the Yukon more of a toy than a DD, and will do a little something with the Dyn's again. Read much smaller scale. Even though I have installed hundreds of systems in my life, I have learned more from the good folks on SSA than I did in all those years. I swear there are some on here that amaze me with the knowledge they have. Agree or disagree with how it's put out there there is a lot to be learned from this tech team. Thank you Buddy. I really appreciate that!

Having dealt with all three of those companies and using one of those subs. I would choose IA over the other two. But your box might be to small for the IA.

ya i made it there... but just barely lol before we left for Louisville we did some testing and in the process the front of my box just exploded apart.. so i pull up to Casper with a busted up wall that im holding up with one arm the entire way there, I get pushed inside(because u cant have the car on) pay the $100 entry fee to do both spl and park and pound. At this point im not even sure if im going to even be ready to compete, so i pull everything out on the floor and line all the subs by the car as people are walking by met a few really cool guys from team IAK, had alot of help from team LOCO finally got everything in turns out the box which i payed a local guy to make was no where near as strong as it needed to be nor was it even built the right way what so ever... it looked good but with that much power i should have had a much much higher score. ended up with a 146.0 db in m4(which is terrible) and a 128.9db in db4 park and pound(drive by spl) which is still terrible considering what it should have been. I placed 4th in db4 so i dident qualify for Sunday. I was so upset over everything that i dident even go Sunday to watch the finals, so turns out i get a text message saying one of the guys in db4 was disqualified for whatever reason and they called my name to run so i would have placed third if i had went Sunday. I still had a great time and the highlight of the night for me was watching the hydraulic competition and watching all the cars pretty much blow up and shoot sparks everywhere. I must have seen about $50,000 go up in smoke. most impressive part of the night was watching Hank and those 48 10"s slam and shake the entire building during his park and pound run. So to end this update my car goes back in the shop either Tuesday or Wednesday and the box will be completely rebuilt and i will share all the updates. sorry no videos but here are sum pics that i took,

you have no idea how bad i wanna go!! only problem is all four 15's are brand new and will not see any power until this friday. taking virgin subs to Casper=coming home with blown subs. I'm going to take her easy for a week or two before i unleash Hell !! They won't have any problem, if anything they are stronger now than when they are broken in. The suspension is the stiffest it will ever be. really?.... Hu, I have always been told to break in your subs before reaching high levels. I dunno now, i may just go depending on if i can get off work in time Digital Designs and AudioQue have been preaching that for years, honestly the only way I can see it is that their suspensions are SO stiff, due to 4+ laminated spiders per woofer, their glue joints break because the suspension won't allow enough travel, that trait also lends to them sounding like poo, the higher series' at least.

ive got plenty of bracing !!! Hard to see but this is plexiglass covering the batterys, i have a wood insert just like the one covering the fuses that sits on top should be finished by friday but it looks like i will not be attending Carl Casper auto show this year. Just way to much to do and that would leave me little to no time to tune this BEAST!!

should be finished by Friday!! box still needs more bracing

Depends on the goals, usage, personal preference. I personally enjoy a ported box as i like more bass. As to OP as stated by Aaron the ZCON's are not designed for sealed enclosures they are meant for high power and heavy bass. I would like to hear how the XCON sounds in a sealed enclosure. You guys really are beating a dead horse. Denim, owner of SSA, answered my question in it's entirety nearly two weeks ago. Any further discussion will either be redundant or off topic.
