it's been sitting for about 2 years i think so my friend and i are going to see if we can start it

new battery, oil, air and oil filters, starting fluid, and carb cleaner all ready to go

new battery, oil, air and oil filters, starting fluid, and carb cleaner all ready to go

Don't forget some fresh gasoline.

Car looks great! Very solid foundation.

Yes, drain the tank first . :) very solid looking car , gonna leave the interior stock ? Please say yes you seldom see stock around here anymore :(

looking damn good tom. i was gonna say, i didnt know where the engine went lol :)

im sure you can fix that. im not a big engine person, im more of a body\interior kinda guy myself. i just never had a car that i could work on. if i lived round ya id defintaly give ya a hand.

good stuff man. cant wait to see where this goes.

are you just restoring it - or do you have further plans for her?

oh yeah, new gas is a definite, have to drop the tank to drain it, that's going to be a pain

as for the interior, the only things i think i'll do to it are 3-point seat belts and different gauges, and maybe eventually changing it to a different color lol

i will try :)

and as far as future plans: 350 carb'd small block, 5 or 6 speed tranny, rebuild the suspension with poly bushings, subframe connectors, disc brakes, probably a 3rd-gen Camaro steering box

it runs and drives!

the first start up was a little rough, but after that, it starts right up

took her around the block, oh my, <3 :wuv: <3 :wuv: <3

brakes are atrocious, but that's to be expected i guess

Those are manual drum brakes aren't they? No wonder they suck. :)'

i dare you to do something different! instead of the typical SBC or BBC, turbo that 6. leave the 4 spd, and make that 6 scream. be bold, be different...be the yeti we all know you are!!

and your making me feel lazy. you just get yours and already pics are up. i still haven't even taken pics of the fox body....
