Bought one at Xmas for my sons Mini Cooper built a box last weekend
1.25 cu ft tuned at 33hz Had to run all new wires because of the Harmon kardon radio and amp ditched those for an alpine. Have it running off a US amps 800.2 at 4 ohm stereo and this thing hits hard and low and great Sq as well might buy 2 more for my TDI Cup
If your looking for great bass don't buy RE, JL, or any of those cookie cutter brands buy these!

I've been riding my brother for months to try these out. He ditched his JL TW5 13" for a pair of the dcon's. Amazing difference. The dcons get way deeper , play way louder , and sound great. Lots of attack for metal music , and they boom the rap music like there is no tommorrow. Running 2 of them in a 2.5 CUFT box tuned to 32hz. powering them with a jl 500/1. They are SOOOOOOOOO badass! Can't wait to get me one or two for my truck.
I would recomend them to anyone on a budget or not.....

Hey guys my name is Brian an i just got a pair of Dcon 12s4's from a guy on the SSA fourm monday.
i put them in the 3.2 cuft. box tuned to 30 hz or so(built the box myself).
i have been installing for about 20yrs. but have never heard a sub at this price slam so hard,
these subs are CRAZY they hit hard loud,clean and handle lows very nice. I have them on a RF T500-1bd,and I can
tell the have room for more POWER. I would recomend them to anyone on a budget or not

my first sub i bought from SSA was the Xcon.. not much more to say about it other then it is the best sounding and yet pounds sub i have ever owned. ( i have owned all the big name subs ). now i bought 2 12" Dcons for a Home theater build (you can see the build on there forums ) anyway these two subs matched with a Bash 500 plate amp was a prefect match for a Home sub. I was kind of wondering how good it would sound after haveing the Xcon, the Xcon is just unreal.. and for the price of the Dcons i thought man i hope it sounds good.. But... once agin.. SSA subs blew me away.. it was all i was hoping for plus sum.. so... do not let the price make you think you are not going to get a good sounding sub.. everything these guys do is nothing but top notch... i can't hardley belive you can build a sub that sounds and pounds so good for this price.. once agin a A++++++++++ you have a life time customer.. and there customer service is the same as there subs.. nothing but A's
