I know its an old post, but with regards to low inductance 18s, it doesn't get much better than Aura's NRT subwoofers:

I hear about those subs quite a bit, I am a HT subwoofer guy... those fit my bill

I started this thread when i wasn't getting the high end I expected, but I found out that was because 1 amp was blown... replaced the amp, my highs are back as well as insane massive lows too Now the port actually works, blowing air like mad and trying to rip my doors off

do you have a build log? what was your tuning again? subs used, power? are you walled or subs up port back? all the goodies pics and vids?

I have 4 IB3s in the HT and 4 IB3s in the van (ok, not anymore, airspace was 1/2ed and tuning almpst doubled so now I have 1803s) I only spent $1760 for 8 IB3 18's shipped... $199/ea plus $20 shipping each. 8 LMS ULTRA 5400s at $900 plus $100 shipping would be $8000.

If I could get 8 ULTRA 5400s for 2K I'd be running them for sure
