Cost of living here is high, as with where you are at I assume. The best route is cater to people in aspen for a seasonal job. Depending on your skills. A lot of the jobs are outdoor activity related. It's about the same as St Pete minus the heating vs ac difference in cost. I am just enjoying St Pete for now, but I may move in another few years. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. J Prices down here in ft myers and the PC area have grown so much we're on par with the sarasota area (you can get a much nicer house in sarasota as well). Tons of people moving up to your area for that reason.

If I knew I could find summer employment in Colorado I would quickly become a snow bird. The gf and I have actually been debating it but her line of work probably wouldn't be forgiving.

Those mountains.... flat land is so damn boring! You would feel SOOO claustrophobic nestled in these mountains. I can't imagine ever having claustrophobia, agoraphobia possibly, though the closest I've come to that is big sky at night. I was raised in the Appalachian mountains. I miss the mountains but not enough to put up with the cold just yet.

Hickman834 and bringing this back from the dead. Haven't played anything good lately but me and the gf are rocking lbp3 gently. -
I would just charge the phone at the receiver with the headphone jack attached as well. Come alarm time it would need to send the on signal to receiver and then play a media file. tasker definitely seems like the ticket, I'll give it a go this evening. Thanks as always

Plug only, no dlna or bluetooth. I use the ps3 for damn near everything that requires tech and run that signal optical to the reciever.
-
I'm fine using the phone as a source(headphone out to rca input), may even inspire me to get out of bed and switch on everything. Otherwise it would have to operate the ps3.
-
I will read about tasker later, that's intense but if it can run a macro it'll work beautifully.

I could manage with just an on signal to my onkyo at x time. Was thinking of using an old spare smartphone to have the alarm play music(simple) so my only component would be a receiver. Btw it's an older tx sr573 so nothing fancy on that end.

Anyone know of an android ir/remote control app that will allow me to set a time to turn on components?
-
Do you like the 9mm? I've never been a fan but just preference.

I start to move 4gig of media from the ps3 to the laptop and the flash drive shits out on me on the very first transfer, awesome! This is what I get for using the ps3 to store media.

I didn't realize you all were e-cig people. I have one I use only occasionally, gone through a few combos (all cheap). The original kanger pro tank was my first nice piece but I dropped it and broke the glass within 3hrs of buying it. Pissed, I changed to the mini and love it. I've even dropped the mini twice off the night stand to tile floor and it's still fine. (Plus not trash if the glass breaks. My battery is a Vision spinner, bought it on a whim cause I needed a battery and it matched my top well enough. Adjustable voltage from 3.3v - 4.8v but I leave it at about 3.5v and until reading the previous posts, felt it was 99% useless. I dont remember the size but it lasts me a few days between charges at the very least. Ah, my favorite liquid so far is what-a-melon but I haven't tried many at all.

You're going to break my heart if you're doing this in an SRT Get some pics up though, should be an interesting build.
