True but we have 2x4's for the super bracing.

While working on my build yesterday a question came up that I couldn't answer. The question was "what's the visible difference between the DC subwoofer levels? I had no answer because I didn't know. Does anyone know the visible difference in these subs? Also how do you know what version of the coils the subs have visibly? To clarify this is not a question of handling power or sound, but simply put visible differences. Thanks guys.

My new Pioneer Double Din HU:

Oh yeah I was able to do the transplant surgery on my 2 new 18's lol. When I purchased these, the dust caps were white and didn't match my build theme, so DC Audio helped me out and got me the chrome decals for my dust caps and even told me how to do it. Here it goes: A little WD-40 Blacked out New Decals Finished product

Finally got the chance to upload the box build so far. Here you go:
-
This is the style of box I have decided to do. I like the look and the port at the bottom is what I was going for anyway. I will be uploading progress in about a few minutes. Just keeping everyone updated. I don't know who's box design this was, but if I did I would give them credit. In NO way did I come up with this idea. This was a box I saw and wanted to mimic. Some things may differ in the two, but the overall idea was not mine. It simply had the style I wanted to go for. Whoever designed this box did an awesome job and I want to make sure I give you credit.

Wow I hate their waiting process. I am sorry to hear that bro.

To answer your question because I wanted to know and I was asked this question and found it to be a good question. We all could contact dealers when they are open but when they are closed that's what experts on here are for, right? Also how does a multimeter tell you what level subs you have,

Lol you right though. A lot of people think its just buy stuff and put it in the car but there's so much preparation that you have to put behind getting you gear. I don't know when the build will officially start, but I plan on starting soon. After I get everything I need purchased. I appreciate that advice bro.

Hey what's going on guys this is tripleb45. Been years since I've been on this forum and I've already got a build started. Stay tuned New truck 2002 Yukon XL, fresh paint, 2 18" DC level 4's, DC 3500 and I may be going even bigger. I'll have my build up within the next day or two. Stay tuned.

Thanks bros can't wait until my gear arrives!!!!!!

Thanks bro and I have plenty in store.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!! As of today this build has doubled. Instead of (2) 18" DC Level 4's and (1) DC 3.5k, I have just completed my final purchase. My build will now consist of (4) 18"DC Level 4's and (2) DC 3.5k's. Stay tuned because now I will definitely need the experts to help me out. What type of (window line) box designs? Type of port? Kids and highs? Electrical? And more. I don't know it all and am not afraid to admit it. So help a bro out where you can. Pics coming as soon as my new gear arrives.
