I have been thinking about moving my headunit back to the factory location then using the area it's at now for my switch panel. Seems like that would make things more functional and if Charlie is in the van, he can control the headunit, or at least see it. Wonder if I still have my little dremel around here. I know once it's done I won't be able to go back.

Sometimes a person can just be too smart.I just tried teaching a gentleman how to run the AC thermostat. He could not understand even after I showed him 3 times.This gentleman is a doctor and is very smart, but the simple things in life confuses him.I felt sorry and recommended a programmable thermostat so we can set it and forget it.

Hell with it. I am officially on a boycott McDonalds endeavor. Those people want 15 an hour? I got some advice for them. Get a better job. Better yourself. Get some education. Fast food is not meant to be a career choice. Neither is welfare.

I so need to get an enclosure built for my 1 lonely sub. That way I can put it in my van and show these wannabes in this neighborhood how a system is supposed to sound.Had somebody down the road trying to impress me with a system that was full of static and the bass sounded like a hammer hitting a hollow log. He was actually enjoying the "music" but it sounded like pure garbage. Not sure what he's running, but damn it had to be the worse system I have ever heard.

O.k. here I go. Out to do work on the van.Remove broken passenger seat, since nobody can sit in it, safely.Remove and clean spark plugs and hope for the best.Maybe a little transmission fluid down the wannabe carb to blow out some carbon build up. Don't know yet on this one.Clean out van. Too many plastic bags in there.

We need a reality TV show. 4 teams, 4 vehicles, 4 weeks.The object of the show would be each team gets a vehicle and 4 weeks to build the vehicle's system. At the end of the 4 week build off, the teams would be judged on the install by looks, quality, and loudness.The only drawback would be to get manufacturers to support this type of show. This could actually be a beginning to a dieing era of the Car Audio world.
