It's Thursday. We all made it through Wednesday. We can make it through the rest of the week. I had a rough day yesterday with the water heater swap, then trying to get work order emergencies done before it was time to go home. Ended up doing close to 10 work orders in 2 hours. And I still haven't got out there and cut the top yet. I got the wood sitting on top of the box, all marked and ready to go. Just haven't been wanting to deal with it for some reason.

And the sanding has begun. I've only done a little bit and tired already. Wish I could find my sanding bit for the drill. That would be much better than hand sanding. The sawdust and glue paste I made is tearing up the sandpaper and sponges.

Everything but the top is together and drying. Now I've got to take the amp rack out of the van so I can use it for the top. then have to make another amp rack to hide the wiring and such. Not sure exactly what I'm going to do, but I think I have enough scraps to make something. Thinking just a simple angled rack so I can stuff the wiring under it.

One side is done. I used my last clamp on it. Got to wait for it to set up for a bit before I can do the other side. Then it's the port and 45s.I was still, kind of, off on my cuts, even with the jig saw and guide. I don't know what is going on with that. Measuring 3 times and still have the cuts off. I had to trim a little bit off of the side, with the table saw, to get it right. Looks like the blade on the jig saw is giving out and starting to angle things.I've got enough wood to finish u...

Got the bottom and back cut. Looks like I won't have enough wood. Working on the first part of the baffle now, but will possibly need another 2x4 sheet to do the sides, ports, top, and 45s. I got a lot of scrapes though, so some of that may be good to go.I thought I was going to have a problem with the table saw cutting straight, but figured out the trick. Just to let y'all know, if you ever need to get a used tire, for whatever reason... DO NOT go to All American Tire on the corner of Arlington Expressway and St. Augustine Rd. Wife had to get a tire. Spent $40 on a tire there. Tire developed a bubble in it. She went back. They put a $30 on it and gave $10 back. BUT!!The tire that they put on wasn't worth $30, more like $10, if you ask me. The last $20 tire I got from there was 95% better.

I got a surprise phone call this morning, at 6:30. Seems there is a possibility of a good thing happening. I might go back to working at a place I love and spent a lot of years at.Hopefully will find out more later today.

Thanks to a good friend of mine, who let me borrow a floor jack, van is in the air and tire is off.For some more good news, I have 3 12volt batteries charging. After them sitting since February 2014, they were still at 12.2 volts. Unfortunately they are wet batteries, but they'll still do the job. One is a lawn and garden 12volt 350amp, 1 is a EverStart MAXX 1000amp, and the other is something like an 850amp.

Goodnight FB. I got to get some sleep so I can wake up and remove a tire off the van, get it replaced, and get my butt to work. Hopefully i'll be able to do the last part, but we'll see. Already called in and told them what's going on. I am seriously wondering what my van would look like back on 15" tires instead of 18s. Probably look like crap.

Well, I think I made my wife happy today. Finally.When she came and dropped off Charlie, I installed the new headlight assembly and gear shift handle. Then we went to eat lunch at J&J's sandwich shop. Then went to get new bulbs for the light assembly.The assembly is a little loose but it locked into the proper places like it should.Now to see if I can start getting front end parts. Can't find my corner clamps. No idea where my drill bits are. Still need to cut front, back, and top.Found out my woodworking skills are quite a bit rusty. I'm doing alright, but damn.. I now know why I don't do this for a living. Of course, practice makes perfect and I haven't had any practice since I worked at the drug rehab.

Sitting here waiting for the rain to let up and/or quit. Feel like I am going to fall asleep, I keep dozing off. As long as I am doing something, I am wide awake, but these videos are putting me to sleep. Even the extremely funny ones.
