I am waiting for an Icon 15 from USPS , and I am overseas. I hope I will get it in good conditions!!! I received several sub and amps from USA with Fedex, and never had any problem; even when I was receiving 2 Kicker S15L7 in a one and only package. The packaging is the most important thing because these fedex or UPS,or ... employees really don't care. They're always in a hurry. It is so easy to blame them!

I did not want to go too hard on Fi ! Sorry guys! I did receive each time automatic emails telling me they were so busy. But I live in Martinique(French West Indies), so Ineed some shipping informations before I order anything! So far I am very happy with SSA customer service. I think I will be happy with their product!!! I will tell you about it soon!!!!!

I sent FI 2 e mails : I wanted to buy a 15" Q. No answer !!! Maybe they don't need to make money. I asked SSA for the Icon 15" and got an answer the same or the next day!!! I finally ordered an Icon 15, my payment was sent by Paypal and everything is clear now. I am just waiting for my sub (it has been shipped 1 or 2 days after the payment). Customer service seems to be important for SSA, but Fi doesn't care. Why ? It is not my problem!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everybody, I made up my mind : I really want to buy the 15" SSA Icon sub. I receive a few messages of AAron, but I am still waiting with my money burning my pockets :bigclap: I cannot order from the website because of the shipping info needed. What a pitty I know it will take a long time to be shipped over here in the Carribeans, but I want it, and that's it !!! I already know what kinf of enclosure I will build : a simple 3 cu feet sealed enclosure. I would like to try it ported, but it needs more room, and I don't want to go over 3 cu ft. If you have somme advices, I take everything! Don't worry!

I will soon get my 15 Icon, I hope to find some sticker(s) in the box !!! It would be the first car audio sticker ever on my Toyota ! (I already have an alarm init!!!) I will tell you, and try to post some pics of my car and of my simple instal : 2 amps and a 15" sub in the trunk, Focal 165kp components front.

Welcome to the world of true sound !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one 15" in a big box can be really loud (if this is what you need), and that can leave more room in your trunk than a big box for 2 12s.

Your sub shipped out today and we sent you a nice little surprise with it. Thanks again for your business! That is a wonderful customer service : I have to say it. For all the forum visitors : the bosses answer all your questions DAILY !!! and seem to be happy with it !!! I will come back to tell you when I get the sub (I think the enclosure will be ready yet). I will be able to make a comparison with my Kicker S15L7. I know the Icon should give me a lot more SQ, but I don't know yet about the output. If it as good as you all say, I will not be the only one to have this sub in my country : I will order a few more !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for everything !

Pioneer head units are the best I've ever had. I just love my second pr88rs ! As a french, I must say Focal is wonderful, from low to high end speakers (I don't like their subs, though). I have just ordered a new sub here : 15" SSA Icon. Nobody seems to like this brand, wth ??!!! We are on SSA forum, and I don't see a lot of people talking about Sundown amps or sub, SSA,... I hope I won't be disappointed with my 15Icon!!!!!!!!!!*

I have a Toyota Auris (it is the new Corolla hatchback) with a little trunk. Here is my setup : hu Pionner 88 prs, speakers : focal 165KP (fr) and Davis Acousticscvt130(rear)on a Boston GT42 amp. sub:Kicker s15L74 on a Jl audio A1800D amp. Secondskin deadening,...... M sub is in a 4 cu ft sealed enclosure; and I really like the powerful output, but not so much the quality. I want to save some space in the trunk; I need a sub that can play very well in a 2 to 3 cu ft enclosure. I found the SSA Icon 15 or the FI Q 15 on the web, and think they can be good for me. Do you think I will be satisfied with one one them? I listen to a lot of reggae , dancehall and rap :I like heavy low bass. I wil try to build a ported enclosure this time. BTW I think I prefer the SSA I con, but I have only read reviews; I can't listen to any one of those 2. Thanks for your help

Hi again today ! I just want to know why so much people here run there amp at 1 ohms. Isn't it to hard for the car electrical system ? I have heard it is better to play at 4 ohms than 2, and 2 ohms is better than 1. What do you think, because I would like to buy an amp for my next sub. I need to choose between the DVC 1 or DVC 2 on a SSA Icon 15, and only after that, I will be able to pick a Sundown amp. Do you guys know how to have a good deal on a package sub + amp ? (SSA Icon 15 + Sundow, or other). Thanks for your help

I started with DIY Mobile Audio forum and the SecondSkinAudio site to buy Damplifier , and found SSA (and Fi, and Sundown). I should have discovered these brands earlier, Now I am trying to sell my amps and my sub to get 2 sundown amps an a SSA Icon15D2 !!! I am still waiting for an invoice ( I am ready to buy the Icon 15).
