It is a process and learning experience in the making. I have been doing builds for about 6 or 7 years now (been slacking last couple years lol), but never had a vehicle i wanted to sacrifice for a wall. Well i do now... The build is going to be a few months in the making. Or years as most walls are and change a lot over the course of their life. Product list. 1995 Eagle Talon Esi I haven't decided on head unit yet. Looking for a decent double din, or a nice Single din. 2 18" Sundown Nightshade V1 motors (not sure on drop in yet.) Looking at psi or ZV3. 1 Crescendo BC5500 4 deka 9a31's 100+ ft of AT 0 gauge Singer 190 amp alt with external regulator 2 PRV 4 inch horns 2 PRV 8's 4 3" dayton fullranges 2 4" dayton mid ranges mb Quart ref 50.4 Crunch prz 1600.4 Looking at deadner still. (SDS or AT) For some reason My computer will not allow me to upload pictures So thats going to hae to wait until tomorrow. Sorry Ha!

Got my baffles 50 percent done this weekend, as well as starting on my door pods. Also went and hung out with chop for a bit. Got some much needed wire. So getting things done slowly but surely. I m hoping I can be done middle of May before our baby is here.

I built this sub a few months back. Last time I seen it was still super stiff and in great shape. Jordan is a good seller and good guy.

Going to need pictures of the motor to identify which model it is. As for the impedence you can check that with a digital multimeter.

Ok. So i recently bought some BNIB SP4 from a local IAK member. Nice subs look great coils check out everything is all gravy with that. I have been out of audio a bit the last couple years and haven't been on here much. So I look up some things on the sp4's and I keep seeing articles of them catching fire. I had a Bl about 6 years ago catch fire, but I was a bit younger and was clipping the shit out of it. I keep reading and reading and most say it is user end failure. Also my specific sp4's have the spider spacer, and I go to the Fi website and they no longer offer that option. So with that being said, why is that option no longer available? Should I be concerned about these subs catching fire? I am a bit more knowledgeable than I was when my BL caught fire, but seems to be trend with Fi. Not talking shit Just something that I have been noticing, just like I notice sundown has problems with baskets braking or any other manufacture having problems. If it helps out I will be running these 18's in a wall that is right around 12 cubic feet with interchangeable port on a single saz 3500 (also been seeing that these amps have a problem sending out straight dc current to the sub) Do I have a potentially combustible setup in order? Is all the fires really user end problems? What is the real issue?

This is the first enclosure I have used this method, but not the first project as I have used it for several. To me it seems to be just as strong if not stronger than the traditional fastening method, or just glue itself. This specific enclosure has yet to be tested yet, but I think it will be substantial. If you build a lot of boxes or do a lot of woodworking I would suggest it, but it is a bit more work for the end user. Well I guess that depends on how you look at it. Overall it is a great tool and has a lot of good circumstances to where it will be more beneficial than any other fastening method. I'm not sure what brands are out there for this, but KREG has everything you need. They sell a whole kit with instructions which help a lot.

This is a build I did last weekend for a buddy. 3.25 cubes per chamber tuned to 32hz. Kerfed port, flush mount, 45's in corners.

Thank you everyone!!

There was some bondo in some places to cover up the kreg screw holes, but you are talking about the fiberglass resin.

Shit wait til you see what else I've made for this build lol. I have so much to do, just waiting on time. But most everything is just sitting here ready to be put in.

Here is a finished picture of this box. He did the finish on it, I have yet to see it in person this is a picture he sent me. I am soon going to be doing the recones for this kid too. Maybe i can get a demo after that.

Made a buss bar yesterday. Really pretty simple, just took an aluminum bar and drilled and tapped it several times, there are 9 3/8" 16 connections, and 2 1/4" 20 connections.

Well weather has started to come around, but now I am working 7 days a week. I have everything, just need to throw it all in and expect some magic to happen. No but seriously, I plan on working on it this week before I go to work. Hoping to have it all done and ready to drive in may.

I wanna weld toooo haha

No pics, still needs everything audio wise. All I have sitting here is the blown xcon lol. But thinking about throwing something in there, maybe by slam who knows. Did go and buy a new battery yesterday along with oil change and spark plugs.

Picked up a Blazer last night. It is a good vehicle, and got it for a reasonable price. Needs normal wear and tear items. Plan on doing a sq oriented build in it. Maybe throw this xcon I have sitting here in the mix. May try a 3 way active setup.

We will be there.

As soon as I get some time I am going to be doing some major work to this thing. All new rear suspension and my amp and battery rack. I was going to get on it this weekend, but have to work all weekend.

Ok, I recently bought a blown sax 100.4 relatively cheap. I did not need it, but wanted to see if I can fix it. I know it needs new rca inputs as one is broken, but I believe it needs a mosfet (that is my guess I have yet to do any testing). Before I go any further where can I purchase amplifier parts from knowing that they are quality parts and exactly what I need. Again this is just something I have wanted to take a crack at for awhile and a lot of people probably think this is stupid, but I am hard headed and like to tear things apart and rebuild them. Lol

Will try and get a pic tomorrow. I officially have all the equipment for the build as of today. Just need to install it all now and build baffles and amp rack. Pretty excited to get it done.Damn Indiana weather isn't going to cooperate :/ Happy for you bro! I am eager to hear this beast! Looks like warm weather is about a month out... lol
